The Who - Tommy T-Shirt - X-Large
Check out this great rock tee featuring a design inspired by the minimalist album cover artwork from the Who's album based on their Opera "Tommy". Pop artist Mike McInnerney's painting is a sphere with diamond-shaped cutouts and an overlay of clouds and seagulls; the figure/ground ambiguity is similar to that in the work of M. C. Escher. This shirt's unique silkscreen features metallic accents in the silvery-white album name lettering, and adds sparkling 3-D effects to the flying birds.
In 1975 Tommy was adapted as a film, which starred Roger Daltrey as Tommy. The supporting cast included Ann-Margret as Tommy's mother, cameo appearances by Elton John, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, Arthur Brown and Jack Nicholson. "Tommy" was one of the first music films with a multichannel hi-fi soundtrack; major theaters billed it as "quintaphonic sound" and used high-powered concert-style speaker banks in each quadrant of the theater, reflecting the locations of the vocalists onscreen. The hyper-realistic effect matched the visual excess.
Despite mixed critical reviews, the film was a huge commercial success, later achieving cult film status. Memorable scenes include Arthur Brown as a communion-giving priest in a Marilyn Monroe-cult, Ann-Margret's frolic in a pool of beans (referencing the cover of The Who's 1967 LP 'Sell Out") and Elton John's Pinball Wizard character wearing 3-foot high Doc Marten boots. Celebrate Pete Townshend's legendary music from this album, including 'Pinball Wizard', and 'I'm Free', with this cool t-shirt. A must-have for any Who fan.

Today at work Phil was having a clear out upstairs and discovered these pretty Pimp baseball caps from years ago. It would seem the uniform wasn't always the slick black polo shirts we have now, back in the day they rocked yellow t-shirts and these super fly hats.
I felt 12 again putting this bad boy on.
Why doesn't my polo shirt have my works logo on it? I edited it off :P I'm not getting paid to advertise the shop.
It seems whenever I have work I end up doing a portrait there because I know it'll be dark when I get home. Maybe I should just 'man-up' and accept a night time portrait, there's only so many shots I can get in out little shop anyway :P
