Merry Meet
If you are ever in Tintagel in Cornwall, you could easily pass by this dreary plain building and miss one of the greatest treats. The brainchild of Frederick Thomas Glasscock a wealthy businessman who was captivated by the Legend of Arthur and his Court, he had the money to translate his dreams and ideals into a legacy that has been visitied by over 2 million people.
Built in the 1930's it houses round tables and granite thrones dominated by 72 stained glass windows (of which this is one) depicting the Arthurian legend designed by a pupil of William Morris.
Definitely one for the must do list if your a fan of the Arthurian Legends and Merlyn, can't think why it appealed to me then lol.
