The pedestals are not quite done... the front corners are routed to accept a polished steel rod to protect the corners from feet and vacuum cleaners. polished 3/16 steel rod looks damn cool against the black wood. A little carefull work with a hot-glue gun and voila! Then it's time for a few coats of nice glossy polyurathane.
