The lighthouse was established in 1828 and closed in 1984. Today, the lighthouse is a museum. The lighthouse is decorated as it was when the lighthouse keeper lived at the lighthouse, ca. 1930. It has also a exhibition with a unique collection of boats.
The lighthouse is about 15 min. outside Stavanger, Norway.
