U vezi ovih kategorija, prvo mi je drago za Kate da je osvojila Oscara. Pretpostavljala sam da će pobijediti ili Kate ili Meryl. Pošto obje volim bilo mi je svejedno iako moram priznati da je bio i red na Kate, pošto je Meryl osvojila već 2 oscara i ovo joj je bila rekordna 15. nominacija. Za Penélope sam isto bila presretna jer mi se jako sviđala njezina uloga u filmu 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona', i govor joj je bio emotivan. Dustin Lance Black je imao odličan govor, to svakako morate pogledati, iako su svi govori bili odlični. On je zbilja bio dirnut što mu je akademija dala Oscara pošto je film bio o homoseksualcima, i to je velika stepenica za njih; da su prihvaćeni. Uz to, Sean Penn je dobio Oscara za glavnu ulogu u filmu 'Milk' (kojeg evo gledam večeras). Heath Ledger je dobio Oscara za sporednu ulogu, po meni definitivno zasluženo. Obitelj je primila nagradu, i ono što je bilo zbilja dirljivo gledati jest publika kako plače, što je uključivalo i Brad Pitta (mislila sam da mi se pričinjava).
