Analyzing the winter months style
Fall and winter may have brought out trenchcoats in the past, but this year, things are different. One of the most sought-after pieces for the upcoming season will be the pettite coat. The primary difference between these new, tinier versions of your traditional autumn and winter favorites is their length. The cuts, regardless of the style, are the same, except they drop down to the waist and not longer. The beauty of these new pieces is that they provide coverage during the winter and still look refreshingly chic.
The right coat is one of the most important elements of your current wardrobe, and the more you have, the better. The ever-present denim jacket is in style again. Additionally, corduroy is in style again, cropped and ready to be worn over anything from your favorite dress to distressed jeans.
A new take on an old favorite is safe, but take advantage on the fabulous new fabrics and styles the end of the year has to offer. Brocade is in this time and they are sizzling up in the fashion scene. A number of these aptly styled jackets are trimmed in velvet and look great with the right color slacks. Keep in mind that some of these new-look short coats are only chest length. Consisting of rich, new fabrics such as tweed and velvet, these jackets areare a mixture of a combination of a frequently common material with a style that is sexy.
Getting short isn’t the only different addition to a cold weather favorite. Sleeves are getting a fresher look, as well. Classic outerwear textiles like fleece are being used as never seen before. Out there now are mini versions of British Army jackets men; a shorter, girlie style of the heavy thick and durable coat.
The good thing about the up and coming styles of coats is the adaptability: combine all of them dresses, skirts and trousers. There isn't one type of fabric that should prevail this coming year. Therefore, its possible to combine away.
