Lolita (1955) is a novel by Vladimir Nabokov, first written in English and published in 1955 in Paris, and then translated author in the Russian language and published in 1958 in New York. This book is internationally known for their innovative style and infamous of its controversial theme: the narrator and hero, middle-aged Humbert Humbert, becomes sexually obsessed, and participated in the 12-year-old girl named Dolores Haze.
Since its publication, Nabokov's "Lolita attained a classic status, becoming one of the most famous and most controversial examples of the literature 20 th century. The word" Lolita "has entered pop culture to describe the sex early girl. Novel was adapted to film in 1962 and again in 1997 year.
Time Magazine included the novel in its time of 100 best English language Roman since 1923 to 2005.  This is the fourth in a modern library in 1998 in the list of 100 best novels of the 20 th century.
