    Večeras u 18,00 u dvorani Općine Malinska (otok Krk), susret krčkih pjesnika pod nazivom "Ča je s vami!" u organizaciji poetske skupine "Kaliopa" iz Malinske.

    - predstavljanje pjesnika - pregršt stihova

    Hi friends,

    Europe's top environment politician, EU-Commissioner Stavros Dimas,
    enraged agro-chemical companies last week when he refused to allow the
    cultivation of two varieties of genetically modified maize (Bt 11 and
    1507).

    He said GM crops should not be approved until new methods have been
    developed for assessing long-term risks* and the effects on birds and
    butterflies. This is wonderful news!

    Other European Commissioners are siding with the industry though, and
    want to vote on the matter within the next few weeks in Brussels.

    We have only days to show our support for the Environment
    Commissioner's brave stand- and to let the other politicians know
    that he speaks for us all.

    Can you send a message to Stavros Dimas, to Manuel Barroso (the
    President of the European Commission) and the Commissioners taking the
    industry's side Kyprianou (Health and Consumer Protection) and
    Fischer-Boel (Agriculture).

    Subject Commissioners should reject GMO growing

    Dear European Commissioners,

    I am writing to express my full support for the proposal of the EU's
    Environment Commissioner Stavros Dimas to reject the authorisation of the
    two varieties of GM (genetically modified) maize (Bt 11 and 1507)
    developed by the chemical companies Syngenta and Pioneer/Dow. Scientists
    have recently shown that these GMOs have negative impacts on the
    environment and can cause more damage than previously thought.

    I urge you to take these scientific findings into consideration and to
    ensure that these risky crops, whose real consequences are
    unpredictable, will not be cultivated commercially in Europe. Such a precautionary
    approach would be in line with the stance of a growing number of EU
    Member States that have banned or suspended the cultivation of GMOs.

    By rejecting these authorisations, the Commission would be acting in
    compliance with EU legislative requirements, namely implementing the
    precautionary principle and respecting the EU's provisions on risk
    assessment. The majority of European citizens have continuously stated that
    they do not want GMOs to be grown in Europe.

    I expect the European Commission to put environmental safety and the
    health of its citizens before the commercial interests of two chemical
    companies.

    I call on you to put the environment and health first and support the
    proposal by Commissioner Dimas not to authorise these new GM maize
    varieties.

    ajme Boro, pa i mi smo imali toliko godina, ali nismo postavljali tako glupa pitanja...šta napravi otuđenje, tom djecom se nitko ne bavi...nešto svakako treba učiniti, samo treba paziti kome će to biti povjereno....

    ne mogu vjerovati da su ova pitanja za ozbiljno.
    možda ih je netko slao iz zaje... zezancije.

    a ako nije, uf, onda su to pravi pravcati kreteni.
    ali nisu svi takvi, to sigurno.
    zašto bi ostali slušali o seksu u školi zbog par pacijenata.

    neka se za te oformi neki školski seksolog.
    pa ak imaju pitanja, nek odu njemu.

    to je to.

    bio sam ja jućer u jednoj osnovnoj školi u srdočima
    pokraj rijeke. ono što sam čuo od osoba koje su tamo
    zaposlene nije za vjerovat. na rubu je incidentnog od
    huliganstva, barbarstva, uništavanja svega i svačeg....
    kakav je to kučni odgoj, kakvi su to danas roditelji, kako
    ih odgaja najbliža okolina a napose i ulica? kamo to sve
    vodi.... ovaj ispis gore, ništa me ne čudi. pozdrav dragoj
