VELVET
REVOLVER:
Ukratko:
Velvet Revolver je američki Hard rock bend.
Formirali su ga trojica bivših članova
Guns N' Rosesa: gitarist Slash, basist
Duff McKagan i bubnjar Matt Sorum.
Pri pisanju većine pjesama bio je prisutan
i Izzy Stradlin , no on je kasnije napustio bend.
Početni koraci su bili dovođenje vokala.
U prvom planu su bili Scott Weiland
( bivši vokal Stone Temple Pilotsa) i
Sebastian Bach( bivši vokal Skid Rowa).
U međuvremenu je bend napustio Izzy
Stradlin koji je pomagao pisati tekstove nekih
pjesama. Sada je u pitanju bilo i mjesto ritam
gitare, no tu je bila alternativa u Daveu Kushner
u koji se odmah pridružio bendu. Nakon mnogo
teških odluka i slučajnosti za vokala je izabran
Scott Weiland.
Članovi grupe sada su smišljali ime benda.
Slash je rekao "revolver", a Scott samo
nadodao "velvet" i tako je nastao Velvet Revolver.
Novonastali bend odmah se bacio na rad.
2003. godine snimili su pjesmu "Set me free"
za soundtrack filma "The Hulk". Snimili su svoj
prvi album "Contraband" 2004. godine. 2005.
godine snimili su pjesmu "Come on, Come in"
za film "Fantastic Four". Trenutačno su pri
izradi novog albuma "Libertad". Glasine kažu
da će izaći tijekom ožujka

...maloprije smo došli iz
