First Croatian 505 Open Nationals, from 27-29.06.2008. in Zadar, Croatia! You are all welcome and we will do everything to create great and fun event! In that period you can expect regular North Westerly breeze from 10-25 knots, sunshine and sea temperature of 22-23 degrees Celsius.
Event will be organized in Sailing Club Uskok in Zadar, the host of many great sailing championships in the past, like 470 Worlds in 2004 or 420 Europeans! The club will be the host of ISAF Youths Worlds 2011.
There is safe parking for cars and place for the boats in the club. Club has very easy way of launching the boats using two launcher pontoons, so you do not have to even get your feet wet :)

Accommodation
There are number of very cheap houses and apartments in short walking distance to the club. Prices are around 30-40 Euros per day for the apartment for 4 persons (less then 10 Euros per person), with air-condition, barbeque, parking, etc. Also there are number of hotels 5 minutes walking from the club and big camping area. We will pre-book number of apartments in advance, so you can send me your wishes after registrations.
Transport
There are cheap flights from Germany and UK with German Wings, Rynair, etc (http://www.zadar-airport.hr/hr/). Traveling with car from Germany, you will need 6 hours from Munchen to Zagreb and then 3 hours to Zadar. With the trailer and boat, add 2 hours on that. You are driving all way on motorways, except small part on local roads in Slovenia, check ViaMichelin route: Munchen-Zadar

Croatian fleet started 3 years ago and we are small in numbers, 7 boats now, but one more coming this month! Also we are planning to to get 2 more in Palermo. If you have cheaper boat to sell, you will have great chance to sell it in Croatia after Nationals (or before if you come with spare boat)!
