Jedan od najsvježijih članova elitnog društva mrtvih pjesnika, Elliott Smith, posthumno objavljuje album dva dana prije godišnjice smrti. Izvršio je samoubojstvo 21.10.2003., a priča sa ovim album je dosta slična onoj uz album 'Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk' Jeff Buckleya. Naime, Buckley je taj album odlučio ponovo snimiti prije izdavanja jer nije bio zadovoljan učinjenim, međutim tragična smrt spriječila ga je u tome. Smith, iako je bio bliže dovršetku albuma, također nije bio u mogućnosti utjecati na konačni 'izgled' ovog djela.
