Yard Sale

A riveting story that carries the reader through three generations and three sales. You can sell off your possessions, but the Franklin and Holloway families come to realize that it is the people you love and who love you that are important. Meet Henry Franklin, a deceitful, self-centered man, who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. It is his greed that almost destroys his family and ultimately leads to the first yard sale. As the story unfolds, you will come to love the wit and humor of Lou Jean, the caring nature of Anna, whose dedication to her husband and family create a need for a yard sale. Colleen is the third generation forced to make the ultimate decision to sell off all of her possessions. Along the way, you will encounter an array of interesting characters that help to enrich the story. Each chapter will bring you closer into their lives and you will remember them long after you read the last page.

Sarah and I are big of the show Clean House. (Sarah being the #1 Super Fan). If you've never seen the show, it's about a group of kooky style people who go into really cluttered houses, clean 'em out, sell the stuff at a yard sale and then redo the house to be all organized. Sarah found out that one of the yard sales was going to be near us, so we got Sarah's mom and we all went! It was a singularly unique mix of a live TV show and a very real yardsale going on at the same time. So we picked up some crap, haggled for it, all while being filmed. It was actually pretty fun. Reality TV baby! Who knows if they'll use the footage of us when the show airs. I mean I'm sure they'll use *me*. I hope to parlay my appearance into my own show. I just need a really solid agent.

FINALLY we're having the yard sale. There are so many clothes out here, and this only about 75% of what I'm putting out.

I also have my scarves, purses, and keychains that i've out for sale, and lavender bouquets from my herb garden. It's a lovely little sale. Too bad none of you live close enough to visit it!

Those looking for a challenge can take on the Beat the Clock Mode as they find as many items as they can within the prescribed time, while others can simply play at their own pace, searching for hundreds of items hidden in fun locales.
