Hardcore Rock Kineage

The hardcore rock kindred stands out strongest and most profound in its arts of being bravado. Hard rockers go back to the old school rock'n'roll days or the rocker (classic rock according to analysts). Like Glam rock, Hard rock was really bordered between the old and new school as is Indie rock. Hard rock was the first to introduce rough melodies and a bold suit of vocals along with an aesthetic that was simple yet manly. Eventually Hard rock shed its flesh giving rise to a new subgenre known as Heavy Metal, this was done by Alice Cooper who shed his Hard rock suit for a Metal one. Black Sabbath was the true beginning of Heavy Metal thus Metal got bolder, more masculine and even rougher! Through the biker days and into the Thrash days, Metal finally reached its true identity as brutal riffs, raw vocals, an aesthetic rehashed from the biker boys to appear barbaric and subjects centered around the darkest edges of our world (apocalypse, hell, demons, war, injustice, psychos, serial killers, careless drug abuse and phantoms). Heavy Metal got to a point of being overly chaeuvenstic from bands like Pantera, Slipknot, Hatebreed and more, thus some metal artists and biker boys joined by former southern rock artists decided to try something new in experimentation. So the flesh of Metal crumbled to a newer subgenre called Rebel rock, this began taming the beast but remaining hardcore in spirit and rough in style! Rebel rockers shed of all the leather or tear wearing and went for something casual in aesthetics, they tried mixing stylish and hardcore together while maintaning a manly image. Trench coats in place of biker jackets, muscle shirts in place of smokey smelled t-shirts, fresh jeans in place of beaten ones, maltese crosses in place of pyramid studs or spikes, fingerless gloves in place of spiked wristbands, a beanie over shoulder length hair and steel toed boots in place of spiked leather boots. Well you get the picture now... The hardcore kineage stayed one straight shot of purely manly sound! With the invention of the grit guitar in the 70's its all about the shredding!

On my t-shirt--WDVE 102.5. It's a local radio station. Plays pretty much AC/DC, Journey, and anyone releasing a new CD. The only other rock station in town plays maybe one or two Pearl Jam songs in between hours of hockey and football talk. That's why I was so desperate for my parents to buy XM Radio--so I could listen to something more than shit about the Pens and Steelers. i even got escorted on a golf cart to the house in the gated community.

he shook hands, got his photo taken with people, then gave a little speech. then he answered any questions anyone had.
i was disappointed that no one asked him any striking questions that he wasn't prepared for. ones he might've had to pause and think about, rather than give a reagan quote and an easy answer that if you thought about, didn't really answer your question at all.
eh, that's politics.

me? i would've asked him why i have to pay off student loans forever.
if he cares about the environment at all? what about our dependency on fuel? pepsi or coke? ever tried fried tofu? how long you gonna be telling that POW story?

Okay, to make a long story short,

My foster sister found this baby bunny, being chased by her cat (not mine lol)
And so she picked it up, and I took some quick pictures of it, then she let it go...

The only problem I have with that is that I heard that once a baby animal has human scent on it or something, the mother will reject it...
I just hope this bunny will survive...he/she was so cute and young, so I don't know what happened since I let it go...

I hope that our touching him/her didn't do that...and I hope this little baby bunny is okay!

yeah. pink! and my background is pink. lol. wati(my best friend) came over today to my house. so we were like crapping and watching movies and all. hah! it was really fun. i missed her alot. we are in different schools so its hard to meet alot. so yeah.

this is my best friend, since secondary school. our birthdays are near to each other. hers is 13 june and mine is 15 june. we always have a 3 days celebration to celebrate our birthdays. cool right? hah. we both were prefects in school and its funny because i dont look like a prefect. we were in the same class only when we were in secondary 2. we both struggled in that class and well we dropped to our respective classes. me taking pure literature and she principles of account. hah. from pure literature to aerospace. i know that is kinda far,but well i love planes and i took physics so its ok for me:D

we were watching another cinderella story( think i watched it almost 10 times already) i think drew seeley is like supper hot ok. and selena gomez in the movie is kinda cute too:D i think this is the chick flick that i like this year.( i dont watch much chick flick. im more of an action or comedy type of person. girl dramas etc i kinda dont fancy watching them. )i fell asleep halfway because i was too tireed. its been 2 weeks since i worked. so yeah. my feet hurts alot. but on the brightside i ate alot today. the chefs kept feeding me. lol. i got to eat alot of things today at work! hah. thanks to those chef. but i think i am going to be fat soon. lol.

so after that i met wati and then we went to my house. so she brought some dresses. i told her i want her in the 365 today. so yeah. we took lots of photos and changed dresses. but so far this is the best shot of all:) of us in action. the dress wati is using is mine. and im wearing her dress(thats what we do mostly change clothes alot) hah!so we posed and laughed and jumped to songs. it was really fun today. taking photos with someone else and not alone. hah!

i love my best friend alot and eventhough we are not in the same school we still are close. we dont meet much too but we still are close. this is what you call BFF:D

oh yeah. you cant see but she is waaay more taller than me. im about 170cm. she is 175cm.ha!

so i wear dresses at home to take pictures but you will rarely see me wear them out. im not a very feminine person if you would realise by now. im more of a t-shirt and jeans person. at times shorts but well i still love jeans the most. heheh. so today i wore a dress. my mum was like. its nicee. hah!

Sitting here watching the world going by 65/365

I took this yesterday, but I know my evening's going to be busy, so this'll do. Tonight's evening weather was no where near as pretty as this. The title is lyrics from a song called "Walk in the Sun".

Maths is becoming a complete waste of time. I really can't do it. I forget the simplest things. Today we were working through an exam paper and every time I thought I'd got something write it was usually wrong. I thought I'd got my compound interest questions right - no, I hadn't included that they were compounded quarterly. I forgot how to do differentiation which is usually something I'm good at, and I struggled with logic simply because I couldn't remember what all of the little symbols meant. On the bright side we had biscuits & tea again, which is a great start to the morning.

My theatre teacher thought my work was really good, and I basically only have one piece left to do. YAY! He talked me through the next piece of work due in, & then I went for lunch which was amazingly fattening but tasted lovely.

We had our choir practise in the assembly hall. We have to sing in assembly tomorrow & I'm dreading it. I've sung solo there before, so with the whole choir it should be easy, but I just felt . . . well I didn't feel comfortable.

I went & found out what time my HPV jab was tomorrow. It's our last one, & then we won't have to have anymore! I'm not looking forward to it, but I'll be glad when I know I don't have to have any more injections for it. After this Alice & I went up to the Arts Centre, and I started darning some shirts for the play, before complaining that my fingers were hurting & wimping out of it because there wasn't a thimble to use. My theatre teacher gave me extra notes for my coursework as we hadn't had time to cover them all in my lesson, & then I folded programs with Alice, Tris & Lizzie. Was very relaxing.

Alice & I then went down to Art & decided to paint a big sign for the theatre box office. I cannot draw at all so I went on the computers while Alice busied herself. I was on flickr and wow they look different on the school computers. All the colours were sooo saturated. I wish all computer monitors were set to the same. So after painting and chatting for ages Loran wandered down & we were all talking again when something came up which I wish I'd never mentioned. I know I write about my life quite openly on flickr, but I have limits, & things which I don't even tell my best friends. I'd just prefer not to. I've only told one person this, and we were only friends for a few months, so I just assumed it wouldn't come up again. Anyway, they now kinda know about it & accidentally told someone else thinking that they were the person I'd told. I hope they don't mention it tomorrow.

I got back to the boarding house & found Hannah had made loads of revision notes. I wanted to kick myself then. We'd originally planned to do lots of revision at this time, but I'd completely forgotten & I didn't have my phone with me & to top it all off that's when I realised I hadn't handed in my History. Great.

Ah well. I have to go out briefly tonight so I assume I'll update this then. As you can see, nothing actually happened really. Rather relaxing day.

Update: Okay, so I was just on prefect duty for Hamlet tonight. It seriously hurt at first. I think I've been in every school play open to my age range since I started here when I was 9 & this was the first time I wasn't in it. She looked quite surprised & said "Oh, so you 2 really don't get on then?" Duh. That's old news.

Wow. All I can say is wow. This is the final stretch! I’m so glad that it’s 300 days over and only 65 days left. Today was a pretty good day, then again, all of the days have been pretty good lately.

Let’s see. First period was actually fun. We acted out our play today. It was so funny watching the kids the volunteered stumble through it, but we managed to act it out pretty well. Min Gi acted out a gentleman. He was really into. People laughed, but it annoyed the poop out of me.

During cats I went to Ms. Branch’s room to tutor. I had the same girl today that I did on tuesday. I’m so glad I went. I love tutoring kids. It makes me feel good that I’m helping others and it makes me so thankful that I am who I am. I complain that I suck at math and whine a lot, but these kids really need help and individual attention— their brains just aren’t wired for math.

Registered to vote today! Yay. Haha, and then in fifth period I did a lot of my homework. I finished half of my final for comparative government, finished a prelab/postlab for biology, and then finished my final for english. I really like my valedictory speech, but it’s kind of cynical. People tell me they like it, but maybe they’re just being nice? IDK.

Seventh was a breeze and I just went to the library. I snuck in without a pass and sat next to meggo and bummed for half an hour until the bell rang. Work was work. Haha. I got lost on the way there because I took an exit too early. So I did a huge circle and got nervous for no reason. I got there early. Taking a Bow

In my advancing decrepitude I find things that once represented grandparents (read: mortality); moth balls, golf pants, Old Spice, Murder She Wrote, and bow ties, I have begun to find oddly comforting. The Original RoseFeather is a hand crafted rose made up of 23 individually cut real goose feathers. Each individual rose takes over 20 minutes by a skilled artist to create entirely by hand. The production process is a delicate artform that takes years of practice and skill to perfect. It is a multi-stage process that uses specially designed scissors, tweezers and custom tools to create using exactly 23 feathers. The process takes the average artisan about 20 minutes from start to finish. A dozen roses takes 4 hours to create! The Original RoseFeather starts in the same place that a nice bed comforter starts...goose feathers. We harvest real goose feathers which start off pure white and get dyed to the colors of both the leaves and the RoseFeathers that are in season. For Valentine's Day each feather is dyed to a rich, ruby red color. The first step in producing a single rose starts with the green feathers. It takes 10 feathers and several tools to shape and connect the feathers to look like stem leaves. We use special angle scissors to create the jagged edges of leaves just like a real rose. The top of the stem has life-like sepals just as a real rose would have as well. Once the stem and leaves are formed, the corolla of the flower is created using 13 feathers and a patient hand. Just like a real rose, the petal cluster is very delicate. If squeezed, the shape of the rose is difficult to repair. The rose is the ethereal flower and should be treated gently to preserve its life. After assembly is completed, the fragrance of real roses is added to create to sense of a true rose. Hold it to your nose and you will smell the freshness of a bouquet of roses. Each gift box includes a certificate explaining the beauty of the RoseFeather and a little about the production process and how to care for your RoseFeathers?. You can add a personal message which will be placed inside each gift box.
