HUMANITARNA AKCIJA ZA OBITELJ ŠEBINA
U mjestu Donji Desinec pored Jastrebarskog, sedmeročlana obitelj Šebina nalazi se u teškom materijalnom stanju. Sve je započelo prije devet godina kad je njihova majka samo dva mjeseca nakon poroda svog petog djeteta hitno morala na operaciju tumora na mozgu. Nakon operacije, zračenja i drugih terapija stanje se stabiliziralo ali sa vidnim posljedicama. Zbog čestog gubitka svijesti i poremečaja motorike 2006.g. ponovno biva kobna za nju i njenu obitelj. Najprije je pala i zadobila dupli prijelom noge a samo mjesec dana nakon toga doživjela je i moždani udar. Sada je preko Centra za socijalni rad smještena u Domu za starije i nemoćne osobe u Pribiću, gdje se uspješno oporavlja. Suprug je također u invalidskoj mirovini. Kuću su počeli graditi prije 15 godina, kuća je bez krova, a kiša i vlaga uništile su i ono dobrog što su napravili. Potrebno je izraditi krov, zamijeniti već potpuno trule prozore, sanirati zidove, staviti glazure i podove kako bi se njihova majka mogla vratiti u obitelj. Zbog takvog siromaštva Josip (9) i Valentina (12) mogli bi završiti u nekoj ustanovi. Stoga se mole dobri ljudi da pomognu urediti njihov dom u kojem bi mogli dostojno živjeti sa svojom majkom.
Humanitarnu akciju prikupljanja novca pokrenula je Udruga "Uzorne Hrvatske seoske žene" a akciji se pridružuju i Udruga roditelja, mladeži i prijatelja djece "Mali i Veliki" te mladi Donjeg i Gornjeg Desinca.
