Ripley House Graduates
Neighborhood Centers Inc.’s President and CEO Angela Blanchard recently presented graduating fifth grade students at Ripley House Charter School with their very own laptops.
Students are assigned a laptop computer with a wireless card when they enter third grade. Even students who do not have internet access at home can connect at local libraries and other locations with free wireless internet.
“We’ve been able to give you this present today because a lot of people care about how well you do in school,” Blanchard said. “We think it's really important that you have the tools you need to succeed."
