    diesel engines
  • (diesel engine) diesel: an internal-combustion engine that burns heavy oil

  • (diesel engine) Powers many long and heavy type A motorhomes and bus conversions. More powerful and durable than gasoline engines. Built tough -- getting 250,000 miles from a diesel without any repairs is normal.

  • Bloated versions of the motors they are putting in cars nowadays. The planners of MATEP chose to install six of these in the plant. They use no. 7 fuel oil and are extremely oil efficient, but are also acknowledged to be the worst polluting engines that can be used for cogeneration.

    cooking oil
  • any of numerous vegetable oils used in cooking

  • Cooking oil is purified fat of plant origin, which is usually liquid at room temperature (saturated oils such as coconut and palm are more solid at room temperature than other oils).

  • Instead of coffee, Neelix pours Paris a steaming cup of cooking oil by mistake. (Waking Moments)

The M35A2, AKA the deuce and a half is a 6 wheel drive working machine. It has a White multi fuel engine, and it will burn any petroleum product available accept Av Gas (due to lack of lubrication). We run 50/50 waste motor oil and diesel most of the time, but it'll run on ATF, mineral oil, used cooking oil etc.... It has a 10,000 lb PTO winch and the axles are Rockwells. This is a true go anywhere, do anything kind of truck.

Red Barn & Rapeseed

Red Barn & Rapeseed

Rapeseed is the third most common source for cooking oil. However, the majority of European rapeseed oil production is used to produce biodiesel, or used directly as fuel in diesel cars which may require modification to heat the oil to reduce its higher viscosity. The suitability of the fuel should come as little surprise, as Rudolf Diesel originally designed his engine to run on peanut oil. [Wikipedia]
