Property Photos
Latest property photoshoot , now I have the D700 I can take 7 bracketed shots and blend together in Photomatix. Mind you, I generally only use 3-4 of those 7.
Problem is I can't find a setting in Photomatix that I'm 100% happy with, they're either too 'surreal' or too flat. The internal photos are the worst, especially the dark ceilings and looking out a door or window to water or blue sky.
Generally overlay some original shots over the blended HDR to give it a more realistic look.
I can spend hours on one image trying to add detail in blown out highlights, battling with dark window frames and window sills. Wish there was an easier way!
Sometimes I don't use Photomatix at all and manually process a HDR image using layer masks & gaussian blur.
Equipment: Nikon D700, Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8, SB900, Manfrotto tripod with Joystick head.

Historic Jay Property in foreground. Neighboring Marshlands Conservancy is visible over the stone wall in the middle ground. This was once a wide open swath of continuous meadow. Now a secondary forest and invasives threaten this landscape and habitat for grassland birds.
