Day 240 - Well, hell.... (September 19, 2007)
With help, I got the old refrigerator moved out onto the back porch and out of the kitchen. Now the junk dude can come pick it up at his convenience rather than having to wait until I'm home. Unfortunately, the storm door window was a casualty. Here's hoping that a replacement window won't cost too much.
In other news, Shaune just came in the door with a job (Boscov's, housewares), so she can start paying rent. We'll deal with her back rent shortly....
Cupboards are knotty pine. Carcasses are in good shape. Surprisingly, the doors are hung firmly and aren't loose. One low cost fix would be to patch and paint the carcasses and apply new, raised panel doors. Refrigerator appears in ok shape but handle is broken off. Dishwasher is good. Counter tops require replacement. No to granite. This is a Home Depot home. Kitchen sink is old stainless steel. Southern exposure. Very sunny room!
