U.S. Army Capt. Jennifer Scr, veterinarian with Balikatan 11 team, gives a puppy de-wormer during a veterinary civic action project (VETCAP) in San Antonio as part of Balikatan 2011, March 28-29. BK11 is a bilateral military exercise between the Philippines and the United States. Humanitarian assistance and training activities enable the Filipino and American service members to build lasting relationships, train together, and provide assistance in communities where the need is the greatest.
