Whole Wheat Oatmeal Cookies
- (oatmeal cookie) cookies containing rolled oats

- A popular old-fashioned drop cookie made with oatmeal, along with raisins commonly added to the cookie dough for extra sweetness.
- wheaten: of or relating to or derived from wheat; "wheaten bread"
- Whole grains are cereal grains that contain germ, endosperm, and bran, in contrast to refined grains, which retain only the endosperm. Wholegrains can generally be sprouted while refined grains generally will not sprout. Wholemeal products are made from wholegrain flour.
- Whole wheat is used in the manufacturing of this product.
oatmeal chocolate chip
I made whole wheat oatmeal chocolate chip cookies again, but I've been using the Joy of Cooking recipe which calls for A LOT of sugar and butter. Any ideas for substitutions?
