Door Coffee Tables
- While any small and low table can be, and is, called a coffee table, the term is applied particularly to the sets of three or four tables made from about 1790; of which the latter were called 'quartetto tables'.
- A low table, typically placed in front of a sofa

IKEA Coffee Table 001
This is where it all started. An IKEA Pax Fevik wardrobe door, picked up from the As-Is section for $5. There was a vague concept of using it as the top for a coffee table, but nothing well thought-out.
Ship's door coffee table
I LOOOOVE this piece. It's made from a door off the Patrick Henry ship... leg needs a few nails. It is heavy heavy heavy.
I may keep this. hmm.
