Colorized 1-25-10, Elsie Lykins2
This is a photo that I colorized, from a black, and white. This depicts Elsie Lykins, My fathers aunt that died at age 3.....shortly after this photo was taken. They say she died from " Milk fever" that is what the folks called it back then.
I used Corel software- Painter11, with a Wacom Medium drawing tablet, and my MacBook Pro. I found a tutorial on colorization at The painter factory .com
Retouching a photo
my first attempt to retouch a photo. Software used is only Adobe Photoshop CS2. Some people said it looks fake, well i think the idea is to create some sort of cartoonist feel with some high contrast.
