Fabric Prints
Yesterday I experimented with Inkjet printing on fabrics.
The bottom one is a synthetic silk grosgrain - it came up well but the printer didn't like it ....... nor did it take to the linen in the middle!
The top prints are on silk and that went through fairly smoothly.
I placed the fabric about 6cm down a sheet of paper - so that there would be paper at the top to grip the rollers and used masking tape to anchor the fabric, top & bottom.
This gave me a printing surface of about 17 x 20 cm - OK for me as I always work small, so fitted two images on one sheet and four on the others.
Now I have to think of how to use them, and maybe stabilize the silk - probably with vilene backing.
It's all good fun!
Yard Sale Haul
Last weekend we had the best time out at yard sales! This isn't even half my loot. Matilda and I got lots of clothes as well and she got some Build a Bear things. It was a less than under twenty bucks day and it was fabulous!!
