A Grade
Round 6 of the CHNL saw a depleted Hepburn take on Creswick. For the 2nd week in a row the Burra’s were forced to line up with 2 players out injured. Confident in their squad, the competition leaders tried various line ups throughout the game until they quickly settled. Captain Libby Purtell at Goal Attack was instrumental in providing Hepburn with plenty of options in attack. Purtell maintained her 100% accuracy throughout the first half and was supported brilliantly by sharp shooter Jane Lienhop at Goal Shooter.
Creswick managed to keep the mid-court battle alive by providing sharp drives to the circle; however the Burra’s defensive pressure in the circle from Ebony Place saw the ball turned over time and time again. The junior of Hepburn’s team,18 year old Tara Ford clocked up her 150th game for the club in great style at Goal Defence. Ford seems to be taking every opportunity in seniors to develop her game with the help of Place at Goal Keeper. However it was wing attack Brydie Taig that stood up to the challenge and lifted the Burra’s confidence. Taig was named Hepburn’s best on court thanks to her speed and sharp feeding into the circle. Hepburn ran out winners 53 to 17.
The Mo Shepherd award went to Hannah Cameron-Taylor and Libby Purtell for outstanding work.

B Grade
Hepburn’s reserves were also focussed on keeping their unbeaten run to the finals alive. The Burras got off to a shaky start as they tried to adjust to Creswick’s style. Moving Janee Brown into Centre in the second quarter was all it took to lift the Burras confidence and provide a 24 to 9 lead at half time.
Courtney Wetzel at Goal Defence, Kristi Pedretti at Goal Keeper and Caitlan Ryan at Wing Defence stepped up in the second half and kept Creswick scoreless until the final minutes of the game. Wetzel provided one of her best games of netball this year getting her hands on ever pass that came her way. Final scores Hepburn 53 to 13.

I’ve always loved children. One of my life’s biggest dreams is to get married to the right woman, have children, and live a normal God pleasing life. I don’t dream of fame, power, or financial wealth because I don’t think they constitute success. To me life is all about relationships: relationship with our heavenly Father, ourselves, and others. I would consider myself to be successful when I become a godly child of God: a good son, brother, uncle, friend and worker, and if it is God’s will, a husband and father too.
Parents have the most joyful, stressful and important job in the world. I’ve always considered mothers to be extraordinary humans beings. I consider a housewife’s job more important than any other job. I don’t know of any other profession that requires as much patience, love, kindness, self-control, selflessness, and sacrifice. In what other career can a person claim to be building a healthy family—the core cell of our society?
There is no other feeling like when I play with my nephew and nieces, hold them, listen to their stories, hug them and kiss them. There is no feeling as holding a child who is completely trusting, innocent and dependent on you: it is like being able to get a glimpse of heaven, and to experience the way God loves us. Sometimes I dream about the day when I have my own family. I pray that I would be a good husband, first, then a good father. My future wife holds a special place in my heart. I love this quote:
"The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother." (Theodore Hesburgh)
I also love the insightful words Paul Washer said in one of his sermons. He said something to the like:
"God didn’t call you to love the ministry, or preaching, or your career, or even your children, as Christ loved the church, but He did command you to love your wife as Christ loved the church. "
I remember when I was 16 years old in Jordan, (that was in 1999 while my family was waiting for our immigration papers to Canada), I didn’t have any friends so I spent all my day reading the Bible starting with the Old Testament. I hadn’t read the Old Testament before so when I came across this verse it became an instant favourite to me. Until today I have a warm feeling when I remember the verse:
"If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married." (Deuteronomy 24:5)
Isn’t it the sweetest most romantic verse ever? I also love this verse:
"Jacob was in love with Rachel and said, ‘I'll work for you seven years in return for your younger daughter Rachel.’ So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her." (Genesis 29:18,20)
I remembered this verse years later when in 2006 I decided to continue my education. You see, I had worked in a warehouse doing general labour for 3 years and the mental agony was killing me. (Even though the work was ok, and the people I worked with were wonderful.) I hated the fact that I wasn’t being faithful towards my God’s given talents, and the fact if one day I get married I probably wouldn’t be able to offer my wife and children a comfortable life. I remember how in the mall one day with a friend of mine she saw a ring in the window of a jewellery store and she thought it was very beautiful. I instantly realized that one day if I got married and she saw a ring she liked I wouldn’t be able to make her happy by buying it for her. That made me very sad. I even avoided reading verses like 1 Timothy 5:8:
“If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”
But thanks to our heavenly Father who has called me to finish my education to be able one day not only to enjoy and put my God given talents into practice, but hopefully be a good provider for my own family.
If you have never been married and long to I understand it can be very hard on Valentine’s Day. I often wonder “what’s wrong with me”, or “why can’t I...”, when I see couples. But I do understand that God has His own plans and He carries them His own ways—we need to trust Him. Please don’t rush into marriage because you are “getting old”, or want to “be happy”, or because you are “in love”, or because all your “friends are married”! There are many other wrong reasons to get married. If you want to get married make sure you both are ready, in love and are committed to each other, and because you want to share the rest of your lives together—you want each other as life partners.
Being from the Middle East I can tell you many stories of people getting married for the wrong reason. That’s why I have distanced myself from much of my culture long time ago, because I realized some of my culture’s standards will pull me away from God’s

The event was held by Korea Islamic Malaysian Student (KiMS) on Saturday, 30th may 2009 at Dongyang Technical College.
1.I admired Ustaz because he changed his citizenship to become Korea citizen, married a Korean, learn their culture and language in order to dakwah and spread Islam among Korean. I wish I have the guts to do the same. But it’s okay because I will spread Islam using my friendship with my friends. Showing good examples by my action first.
2.Halal means it is good for your body and life. And haram is the opposite. Only the Creator knows what is good for our body. Just like a car, the car manufacturer will recommend you the most suitable motor oil etc because they know best. But if you want to use other products just because it is cheaper, most of the time as time passed by your car will get to visit the mechanic more often.
3.Pork already been proven scientifically that it is bad for health, but let’s we follow not because of science but because of our faith in Allah. When the doctor tells us to follow some rules, we did not ask too many questions because we acknowledge his/her credibility because it is their expertise. They know about our body more than we do because they study about it. The same thing goes with the Creator, who know our body better than our own creator? None, only Allah. And Insya-Allah if we will be healthy and look younger if we follow Allah’s rules. Even Ustaz Abdul Zahid Abd Wahab look like he only 50 years old even though he actually already over 70 years old.
4.Why we need to slaughter animal properly according to Islam? Blood is bad for health; only by slaughtering the animal properly all the blood will escape the animal’s body. Thus ensuring the meat that we eat is free from toxins. There are some people who said that if they slaughter the animal the same way like we do except they did not preceded by “In the name of God, God is the Greatest (Bismillah, Allahu Akbar) so it is okay. Even though we are the owner of the animal and we slaughter it using the same method, the soul of the animal still belong to Allah. And only by asking His permission we are allowed. As said, “It is yours if you say My name”.

9.The only thing that differentiate human from animals is our mind and ability to think. Alcohol is forbidden in Islam because it will make we lose our sanity temporarily. That is when we do bad things to our children and wife. If we drink alcohol at the end we will lose them. But some people disagree because they say they can drink lots of liquor but still not drunk. At the end Allah know best, so He generalizes. Because there is a person who drink just one drop or a sip and get drunk like donkey (not sure this is a good expression but it sound catchy and funny too LOL)
10. Another example is when a man and a woman staying together inside one room without other people watching. They can control themselves and say that nothing happen but we all know that most of the time, blunders happen. So that is why lots of Islamic rules use prevention rather than relying on man’s self control.
11.We all know Korean love to drink, if someone asks you to drink just say no. And if you are thinking about drinking, try to burn you little finger using a lighter and just remember that the hell fire is much stronger than that.

Dear Mr.Keiji Inafune, when i heard that you quit Capcom, i was very sad. To me i though it was just a bad dream, but it turns out that you did. I was afraid that if you quit, there would be no more Mega Man. Does that mean there isn't going to be another Mega Man or Mega Man games? Right after they started to make Mega Man Legends 3, you retired. You quit because you thought that some of Your Mega Man games didn't turn out well and did not had good sales. But to be honest, i want all of your Mega Man games! I heard that Rock Man Adventure was bad, but to me, i liked it. I watched the videos online and photos of the gameplays. I know it's more of a movie then a game, but i still want to get it anyway. I think it's really cute! I'm a girl and i always think of Mega Man as my boyfriend! The other Mega Man game i have been trying to get is RockBoard it's a paradice! I have over 43 Mega Man games so far and i'm still trying to get them all! Painted in 1996 with Monk at the uptown tracks off Lake Street. No real story here. We painted these in broad daylight under a very visible bridge from the upper street. It was a good time when the tracks were covered with trash, huffers, whores, illegals and other dope fiends. It also is very near to the spot where I learned first hand why the cops in Minneapolis were under investigation for multiple homicides that happened under their watch and several physical abuse cases that were pending on them in the mid 90's.
One day, I was suppose to meet with the homeboy Chen and rock a metal grated wall that was visible from the street. We were so used to getting busy with little to no problem while painting the track walls, that we had no reason to fear painting in the day, out in the open. Of course, you still had to look out and be smart about it. Chen was late to meet me, so I decided to start the piece on my own. It was to Read, ALL KINGS BABY. I sketched out the rough outline in Krylon yellow and was about to begin my multi-color fill when I noticed 3 workers from a nearbye factory watching me from a bridge overpass. I immediately put away my paint when one of them started to yell vulgarities at me. I payed it no mind, stashed my paint and began to walk in their direction. I was walking underneath them when All of a sudden ,they started yelling and pointing like some crazed wild animals. When this happened I looked up and noticed that they were looking at someone to my left. I turned my head to see when at the same moment as I looked, one of Minneapolis finest walks out from behind some trees and we meet eyes. Given the situation, I made a quick decision to get my ass out of there as fast as possible and took off running in the opposite direction. I ran as fast and as far as I could, all the while running up and down hills and dumping all my graffiti tools, caps, gloves, Sketch, etc.... I looked back a few times and noticed that the cop had jumped the fence and was in hot pursuit of me. I was rather a fast kid my whole life and was probably 10 or so blocks away when I decided to stop and take up a safe positon under a bridge. I figured that there was no way he would have chased this far. Right as I was about to go street-side, I saw another cop's head peer over the edge of the bridge and look down the tracks away from my direction. I was shook. I felt trapped and didn't know what to do. So, I quickly altered my clothes and look to see if I could get away with the old, "it wasn't me", routine. Unfortunately, right when I was about to make my great exit, the other cop had come down on the opposite side of the tracks and pulled his piece on me and yelled "Freeze". So, I did. I had nothing on me and they had no evidence, so I figured I was good to go. After the rookie cop hancuffed me and searched me, I stood in wait of the other officer that was in pursuit of me, to arrive. It seemed like 10 minutes. Let me just say when he got there, he wasn't happy that he had to run 15 blocks and was breathing extremely hard. As I stood with my back facing him, I hear this loud panting sounds getting closer and closer. The other officer didn't even say a word and the next thing I know, Bam, I was hit with a fist in the dead center of the back of my head. I flew forward and landed about 3 feet away in a mud puddle. Next thing I know, I have this 40 year old, 200 plus pound, grown ass man, doing knee drops on my back and pushing my head in the mud and swearing and threatening to kill my ass. Saying things like, "You wanna run, Mother Fucker! Well, you'll never run again, after I'm done with you!" and he meant business. All I could do was scream out loud in agony and beg for him to stop. The other one was kicking and stomping on the back of my legs. Bear in mind that I was handcuffed in the back and on my stomach in a mud puddle with two cops beating the fuck out of me under a bridge. I was just praying someone was filming it or would have atleast tried to step in to prevent them from killing me. I was scared for my life. Finally, after what seemed like 5 minutes of abuse, they stopped. I was beat up pretty bad. I didn't know what they were going to do with me but I knew it wasn't over. All of a sudden I felt this incredible pain in my hands. These guys actually lifted me up to my feet, by my handcuffed thumbs. Just my thumbs. Luckily, they didn't break my fingers but believe me, they tried. They continued to pick me up and toss me up the steep embankment until we reached the top, where they flipped me over a small wall onto the concrete sidewalk below. Which by that time, I was feeling no pain. Then they put me in the back of the squad car and proceeded to drive me around for at least a half hour. They would stop every so often when they saw little kids and would try to humiliate me. I remember this one young boy asked them what I did and they said, "he's a bad guy, don't look at him."

Watching the Watchers
This mother seems to be showing the young orca the "other" world above the surface of the water - a behaviour refered to as "spy-hopping".
We were very fortunate the day we went whale watching in Johnstone Strait. There were more than 5 family groups with more than 50 orca's that came into the area that day. We observed all kinds of interesting social activity that occurs when so many matrilines come together. We also saw three humback whales and watched Dall's porpoises ride the bow waves of the boat. We also saw harbour seals, stellar sea lions, 100's of rhinocerous auklets, common murres, Northern phalaropes and, off course, bald eagles. As one of the tour operators said, an absolutely perfect day.

Chatouille and Chataigne love to look through the windows, so I got the idea to create there the perfect kitty TV channel! I attached many seed balls the the balustrade of my balcony! And now, lots of little birds are coming to eat the seeds! The cats love this endless new movie! lol
