Faucet On Rain Barrel
Faucet, Electric conector, Rubber washer. ( I cut).
The hole was drilled. Tefflon tape on the threads of faucet.
I used on the inside a plastic threaded cuppling that was on an old faucet.
Conduit Locknut, Then rubber washer. The hole was drilled with a 7/8 inch flat bit.
I used a 1/2 inch faucet because the washer on the stem (inside seat) is the same size as the 3/4 inch faucet.
The top of the trash can is covered with screen, and I placed the cover of a box fan over the screen.
I just fill a bucket or milk jug to water my plants.
Final cost to me. I had the trash can, and the faucet. Total cost nothing.
