Taft Settlement Cemetery in North Syracuse, NY
This cemetery is located in North Syracuse, NY on east Taft Rd. From what I have read at the US Gen Web site, this cemetery at one time had been a family cemetery. The cemetery is now an inactive one. The latest burial I have found in there was sometime in the 30's. The earliest that I found was sometime in the 1820's. Quite a few of the tombstones have been destroyed by vandalism. It's quite sad. I had to take this photo of a sign at an angle. If I tried to stand in front of it I would have wound up standing in the middle of East Taft Road and more than likely hit.
