Glue Covered Hardwood Floors
The guy who owned this house prior to me woke up one day and said .. "I am gonna sell this place, but to make it look better, and to save a few dollars, I will install carpet over the original hardwood flooring versus refinishing, I will do it myself to save money, I will not install a pad, and I will glue down every inch of it".
This is the final room... among four rooms and a hallway, that I need to scrap the glue from, ah.
Rub-a-Dub-Scrub?
Some years back the carpet was apparently glued down in to our hardwood bedroom floor, so it took a good bit of scrubbing to make it look nice again.
Well worth the effort, though!
