The hard part of being a sports photographer is shooting a loss. Especially a big loss. I have a hard time not feeling bad about capturing disappointment when I really have no idea how bad they're feeling. But I guess someone has to do it. This was the biggest game of the season for our team. Everything just happened to fall into place for this picture: the emotion from one of the team's star players lined up right in front of the losing score as the game ended.

I have a bit more backlog after this, and meanwhile, I'm working with fire, light, stars, and doing my first model shoot involving hours of preparation this weekend. Good things are definitely on the way! I’m getting back into checking Flickr on a regular basis, but it’s still taking time to get used to posting more often again.

Our State Employees have the finest deal ever extorted from an unwilling populace. Morgan and the Robber Barons could never get nothing as lovely as this. My hand trembles- the Retirement Fund is guaranteed an 8% return by the tax payers. Yes. If the fund managers make bad investments the losses have to be made up by the taxpayers to any amount. Not on a ten or twenty year average but per annum. Overages accrue to the Fund of course.
