Library @ 190 S. LaSalle
The 40th floor houses a Law Library>rePurposed as a "club"/ bar for tenants of the building.
The food service is provided by "Shi KA go" a new Asian/Japanes bar/club/restaurant opened on the Main floor- Andy the owner of Kevins, on Hubbard Street, is the owner.
When the building was 1st completed, someone heard a creaking sound- to discover, that the Chandeliers were swaying from the building movement.
Since a lot of lawyers officed there- the Management wisely chose to attach "guy-cables" to offset / secure the lights from swaying in synch w/ the building.
We have an awesome law library at my office. We don't need it; we're in finance.
When we bought the building 5 years ago, a group of lawyers (big surprise) owned the building. They left almost all of their furniture and this entire library.
All the lawyers and employees SERIOUSLY packed up their personal belongings and moved to Utah. They all decided to convert to Mormonism.
That's cool and all but I hear most Mormons don't practice polygamy anymore. That sucks.
