??? Little picture of our little toilet. Our bathroom here is actually divided into two parts: part one is a shower room with a nice, deep bathtub, a sink for brushing teeth, and an area to sit on a stool and clean up Japanese style; part two is the WC, which is basically just a closet big enough to fit a toilet. Separating the two main things done in a bathroom is a great idea. Being able to get into the toilet when someone is taking a shower is excellent. Also, the water to fill the toilet tank comes out of the wall into a sink, then the soapy water fills the toilet, so washing your hands wastes no water. Excellent! It is a bit claustrophobic, but I hung a cork board at head height on the opposite wall. Under-Tub Storage One way we were able to cover up the wheel wells in the airstream was to put the bathtub over one and our kitchen counters over the other. This makes it so our bathtub is raised up about a foot off the ground which allows for a great storage place underneath. There are two drawers and one cabinet underneath the tub, that are filled with towels, cleaning supplies and toiletries. Newly cleaned "Morning Thoughts" shower curtain I followed the directions for washing a vinyl shower curtain in the Apartment Therapy book, but I was a little nervous as to if it would really work. I really like my shower curtain, (and it's been discontinued by Pottery Barn), so thankfully, it worked! Bleach, the shower curtain, and some towels worked great. budget hotel Chicago, 2006 I'm in Chicago every Memorial Day, and the only place I stay (since friends who lived there moved south to Champaign) is the Red Roof Inn off of N. 139-140/365 bookworm January 16-17, 2011~ So yesterday, I went to church which is always great! Cooked lunch for the Chastain family because Caleb doesn't know how. We had my favorite, pasta:) after that we went to watch Elizabeth play soccer for her old team and Jonathan, Caleb and I laughed at the players wayyyyy to much, it was mean. Then we got a bunch of people together to play soccer, it was extremely muddy and AWESOME. After that we went back to Caleb's for dinner:) Happy Martin Luther King Jr day to all. My day was great:) I slept in until like 10am which was amazing. Then I did some cleaning and homework and drawing an awful drawing of an elephant for drawing 2 and reading. Lots of reading lately:) hung out with Caleb, we ate dinner and watched Jersey Shore because we are lame, toxin-illustration-bw One of the assignments in my Illustration class was to make a front cover for a book you read. I chose "Toxin" by Robin Cook. The story is that, after some people sold a cow infected with e coli to a slaughterhouse, the meat is accidently poorly cooked at a fast food restaurant and is served to the young daughter of a doctor. A week later, she is dead of e coli. Her grief-stricken father goes under cover to expose the corruption in the beef industry. The book sure makes you think twice about eating a hamburger! This is the pencil drawing, scanned into the computer and cleaned up (my pencil drawings tend to get REALLY messy!), but before I colorized it. Revelation Unsealed: A Narrative Critical Approach to John's Apocalypse (Biblical Interpretation Series, V. 32) This commentary systematically examines John's Apocalypse from a narrative critical perspective. Following an introduction to narrative criticism, the volume focuses on point of view, setting, rhetoric, character and plot in the Book of Revelation. The rhetorical and symbolic significance of numerals are discussed at length as are the multifaceted characters in the book such as demonic animals (locust, beasts, dragon, birds) and apocalyptic animals (lamb, four living creatures). The symbolic significance of topographical, architectural, agricultural and other settings is also emphasized. The final chapter of the text is a summary of some of the major theological themes of Revelation. Author Calev Ben Avraham explains how God uses the royalty as signposts in the prophetic time element-known by only a few biblical scholars-thus making it possible to pinpoint the exact time in prophecy for the end of days and the ending of Gentile rule over the earth. In Prophecy: Past, Present, and Future, Avraham refers to the Babylonian dynasty of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon; Cyrus, king of the Persians; Alexander, the great emperor of Greece; and the emergence of Christianity under the Roman emperor Constantine. Through the Book of Daniel, he shows how the prophecy pertains not only to abdication for the royals but also to death by fatal accidents, such as Princess Grace and Princess Diana of England. He also explains how God will gather his people from the four corners of the earth back to the Holy Land in the very, very near future. Expand your study of prophecy and gain a new understanding of the years to come. (19) Laughter....it's her essence This picture is when the grandma's went to D.C. I had the pleausre of sharing a room with these two wonderful ladies. The one to the left is Ian's grandma Carmel and the right is my mom Linda. I had such fun with these two! How did Mom do it? I'm not quite sure where mom got her tremendous energy? I have a really tough act to follow because not only was she an amazing mother, perfect housekeeper but she was and still is a really beautiful woman, she always smells good, her clothes are pressed and matching, her make up is just how they wear it in the magazines and her hair is pretty, silky and blond. When I was growing up I could open the hall cupboard and find our bath towels neatly folded and color coded too, they always smelled fresh and felt soft. My clothes were always washed and rarely did there even seem enough clothes to fill a laundry basket because Mom did laundry I think non stop. Mom didn't just iron our clothes, she ironed the pillow cases and fabric napkins. Oh and how can I forget when I was younger she made all my dresses by hand. I remember eating dinner with our family nearly every night and it was complete with some sort of meat, veggie, salad and milk to drink. She even would make individual desserts. The kitchen was never left cluttered or dirty. The floors were always clean, I don't remember ever seeing crumbs on the kitchen floor (like mine), the carpet floors perfectly vacuumed in a geometric pattern. The beds always made, the bathrooms sparkling! Mom took us to school each day, took me to extra activities outside of school like ballet, bluebirds, pioneer girls and Sunday's we always went to church with her. Mom was my room mom more times than I can really remember. She was and still is the rock of our family, always there always dependable. I was proud of my mom because she never got fat, she looked like a model and everybody thought she was so pretty and perfect. She smiled a lot and laughed even more....she still does by the way. Mom was and is always interested in whatever is going on in my life, even if its a book I'm reading she sits and listens to me ramble. How is it that I watched this amazing woman my entire life and I'm so far from her in my housework ability or even my appearance? My sister has it nailed...she has many of mom's qualities. I'm not saying I'm unhappy with my abilities, I have other talents and my own unique style but Mom and sister amaze me very much. I want them both to know I think they are amazing, beautiful women. I'm related to two awesome ladies! It goes deeper than just mom and sister, we had this other example of greatness, my great grandmother she always told me there is nothing like clean sheets, I never quite got it as a kid but I get it now. So whenever I wash my sheets and get into them the very first night, I always think of great grandma, tick tick sprinklers and train horns take me back to my childhood and that always includes great grandma. I'm lucky God gave me these ladies to aspire to...so a BIG THANKS ...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. My Way 22 random things about me: 1. Why 22? Because I'm 22 y-o. 2. Shawnee Branch Library Photographed by Ian Bell This is the building of Shawnee Branch Library, and it is located on West Broadway. The building was constructed in cooperation with the works of Progress Administration in Kentucky in 1938. The building contain some architectural elements like keystones at the top of the windows, and the has quoins on the edges of the extended part of the front of the entrance. In addition, the architects used an arch above the pendiment of the door, and there are dentils around the roof of the extended front entrance. From interpreting the building, I think it would fall into the Red school category because the architect used brick, and it looks like they may have used limestone on the keystones and the quoins. From observing the building, an architectural historian would probably consider this building to be Red School because it it artless; for example, when you compare and contrast the Main Library on Fourth and York Street, the old or original part of the library has like ornamental and high relief sculptural-like figures carved around the pendiment and the roof facing York Street. From noticing these things, would probably make the Main Branch Library be defined has having strong art characteristics and features. On the other hand, the Shawnee Branch Library does not have like high and low relief engraved figures around the roof which wound make this building Red School. Finally, the building would be interpreted as Red School because it looks like it has some age to it; for instance, when examining the how the limestone looks on the keystones, and the limestone on the quoins on the edges of the entrance. The limestone on the keystones that are at the top of basement windows, looks more cleaner and more fresh than the ones around the first floor windows. Because of the rain and snow, is probably what makes some parts of the Shawnee Branch Library's limestone look old. Also, this building has a good place of pleasure because when people drive or walk pass the library, they may feel that the library has nice and welcoming staff; the people who enter the library may feel it is a good atmosphere for their children or themselves to go to read books, concentrate on their studying, or use the computers without a lot of noise and distractions. Worst Face-Rape Ever - Midian City [11:48] Ayr Bosatsu thunks her down onto the bed, going to grab the shit from the drawers. [11:49] Fluffy Snoodle is thunked down and tries to pull her cuffs off, though it's probably a good thing she has it. Though the blood from the bullet began to seep through the bandage. Delicious, no? [11:50] Ayr Bosatsu reaches down slowly - his finger stretching out as he tried to rip off the bandages and replace'em with his finger in her hole. Even more delicious. "Lay still, i'll take those cuffs off in a second." [11:51] Fluffy Snoodle does her best to lay still though she'd let out a loud cry as his fingers when in her hole. Traveling upwards towards the bullet, it was in there pretty deep. [11:51] Ayr Bosatsu presses his finger in deeper, fumbling with his lock pick with the other hand as he tried to roll her about with his elbow to expose the cuffs, his eyes - despite his actions - showing nothing but kindness towards her. [11:54] Fluffy Snoodle groans in pain while she'd roll in any which-way. She wasn't in a fighting position anyways. She'd hold her hands out to him, still trying to pull the cuffs apart as she began to panic, she didn't like to be confined. [11:55] Ayr Bosatsu fiddles with the lock - teasing and twitching at the things 'til they opened with a soft clicking crunch. Pocketing the pick he'd lean over behind him for a pair of tweasers on the counter - withdrawing his finger from her hole before shoving them in their stead, searching about for the bullet. "Oh, you saucy girl. You're dripping all over me." (( While that happened...we died of laughter OOCly )) [11:58] Fluffy Snoodle coughs at that, it was the only thing she understood right now. Awkward huh? Not really. She'd let out yet another cry - Thanks for the pain meds, by the way. Though she'd utter out raspily, "You...you like it." Yep, she actually talked. The pain made her sane-ish? Odd. [12:00] Ayr Bosatsu nods, "of course i do. Pain has a way of sobering up even the most outlandish beings," lifting his hand up he'd stroke her hair a moment - caked with dried blood though it was. "Even in this state you're still beautiful, you know." Finally catching the bullet he'd tease at the flesh beside it to see if it had hit any arteries or anything else serious business. Gently tugging it out he'd mrr, keeping his eyes on thuh hole of Fluff so recently made by Kiri - assumingly - since she was the gun nut. [12:02] Fluffy Snoodle laughs airly, "Even though I smell like death?" She was even disgusted by her own scent. Fluffs tails just hung there limply before whimpering out to him as he fingered her hole. Yes, I just said that. "I don't wanna die!" There was fear behind her words, making whatever she'd say crack. As if she was about to cry. [12:06] Ayr Bosatsu "even though you smell like Death." Flicking the tweasers and bullet into the bin he'd nod - finally beginning to gather materials to stitch up her wound. Threading needle and dousing the area with water and a light alcohol solution - he'd begin to work on tying together the flesh without anaesthetic. But first, of course, he'd fill the hole with a polymer substance to stifle bleeding and encourage tissue regrowth [12:09] Fluffy Snoodle smiles and just kinda lays there, she could take it without any pain meds though it still hurt like a bitch. She'd look up to him from behind her bangs, the rabies took her over scary-fast. Faster than most of the others it seemed, "Don't let me die." One of her biggest fears - death. Her eye twitched as he began to sew her up, not fun. [12:11] Ayr Bosatsu lifts his eyes up from her wound a moment, freezing in his stitching. The machines. That simple statement - dont let me die - had flung him back thousands of years to every instance he'd heard that phrase uttered. A frown broke moreso over his face, lifting one hand to pat her cheek. "No one dies when I'm around. I won't let them." Lowering his hand again to work away at the wound, he'd pull and tease at the flesh moreso to tighten it up - thumbing the stitches as he sealed her wound [12:15] Fluffy Snoodle curls up into a ball after that and groans, "The vaccine-" She'd say slowly, "made me normal...for a couple hours." She was basically asking for it to be injected into her again, though she hasnt seen Yewh or Amara around today. Though with Ayr here, she actually felt like she wouldn't die, anytime soon anyways. Big, bad protecter - Grr! [12:17] Ayr Bosatsu twists his mouth and leans against the table she lay on for a moment or two in thought. Leaning his head back, he'd stare up at the roof - his wild as fuck hairstyle frozen in that position. "..Hm. Alright." clapping his hands together he'd shove a bandage over her wound, planting a kiss on it lightly with his mask before going to go 'n grab the syringes with the vaccine. "It won't really Day 151 - Ambush! Mr Fox and Mrs PB aren't very big fans of baths. Mr Fox had a an unfortunate washing machine experience when he was little, which to this day he's not completely sure he's recovered from, and as for Mrs PB.... well she's just difficult! Not the world's greatest advocate of personal hygiene, when it gets to the point that even Mrs Polar Bear suggests that Mr Fox might want to think about having a bath, you know things must be bad. The words "mangy", "crusty" and "fox" certainly seem to have been bandied around in the same sentence a little more frequently than usual! Mr Fox, using one of his many sixth senses, could tell Mrs PB was up to something and decided to keep a low profile. He was pretty sure whatever it was, it wasn't for his benefit, and he was sort of right! Mrs PB had spent most the day, with patience beyond her years, perched above one of Mr Fox's 'routes' armed with a bucket full of water! Eventually Mrs PB's moment came: "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH", "WOOOOSH", "THWUNK" "PFFFFFFFFF" "THWACK" So what happened?! Well Mrs PB let off her signature battle cry then tipped the water over the recipient. Fortunately Mr Fox's Jedi reflexes, immense arsenal of custom designed gadgets, and incredible foresight enabled him to deploy his emergency umbrella in the nick of time. Unfortunately Mr Fox had not expected Mrs PB to release the bucket as well as its contents when performing his risk assessment. At least he didn't get wet! Mrs PB is currently blissfully unaware of the unexplained blue marks on her otherwise uniformly dirty coat! Greater forces are afoot! Martin From director George A. Romero comes a dynamic gothic original. Martin is a misunderstood young man who happens to be a vampire...maybe. The sun really just bothers his eye a little garlic and crosses have no effects and he has no fangs. He also doesn't have any vampiric powers which makes acquiring blood an extremely harrowing experience for all involved.Features:New Photo GalleryNew Commentary from G. Romero R. Rubenstein T. Savini M. Gornick and D. RubinsteinNew photo gallery"Making Martin: A Recounting"Original TV SpotsOriginal TrailerSystem Requirements: Running Time 95 MinFormat: DVD MOVIE Genre: HORROR Rating: R UPC: 031398163596 Manufacturer No: 16359 Martin (John Amplas) is a modern sort of vampire--he gains his victims' cooperation with the use of a hypodermic needle instead of hypnotism, and uses razors in the place of fangs. "There's no real magic," he says. "There's no real magic, ever." He says this to his elderly Romanian cousin, Tati Cuda (Lincoln Maazel), a true believer in the old religion, and self-appointed keeper of Martin, who threatens to do away with the boy if the vampirism doesn't stop. According to Cuda, the boy is actually 85 years old--young for a vampire. Truly, the supernatural element of the film is always at odds with psychological explanations that make Martin out to be a sexually disturbed teen, not an ancient bloodsucker. Martin's vampiric episodes are intercut with sepia footage of similar exploits from some gothic era, which may either be Martin's memories or his imagination; take your pick. Garlic, sunlight, mirrors--these are devices of Hollywood, and have no effect on a hypo-toting vampire like Martin, as he explains the rules in his role of frequent call-in guest on a radio talk show where he's known as "The Count." These ambiguities are left teasingly unresolved by the film, which is more interested in establishing the relationship between the traditional vampire and the modern-day psycho. Along with the film's narrative economy, these ambiguities make Martin Romero's midnight-movie masterpiece. At the very end Romero borrows an image from Carl Theodore Dreyer's classic silent film Ordet, ratifying a moment of religious ritual. Knowing this as you watch the film only deepens the chill. --Jim Gay (6) Spyridon Martin, 28 Spyridon is a cyborg, created with the hope of cracking codes and gaining access into hidden databases of government enemies. Trained as a human to be a sponge for languages and learning the way of people, his cyborg form was created when he turned eighteen. The program was ended due to the severe breach in ethics after only a year of service. Most were either broken down, or their programs were wiped clean so the human part could take over, and they could return to their families. Spyridon was not so lucky. He was an orphan, pulled off the street, and had nowhere else to go. He managed to negotiate his way into keeping the programing. A move his creators quickly regretted. He used the program to release the classified files about his creation, the experiments, and the names of other victims, and what had been done to 'help them move on'. He has a bounty on his head now, claiming him a terrorist. The government has spread lies and rumors about him. Nine years later, no one seems to remember anything about the hacker cyborg. But nine years of laying low have started to make the cyborg annoyed, as his memory is endless, he's beginning to see history repeat itself without regular reminders from the past. Having aged only two years in those nine, he's decided it's time to become the reminder of all things foolish, and destructive that mankind has done. 2011-01-13-15 CUSEC2011 038 Martin is co-founder and CEO of Planbox, a project management software-as-a-service startup. Before starting Planbox, Martin held many hats at Synopsys, the world leader in electronic design automation (EDA). First as a developer in Ottawa, he coded algorithms, application programming interfaces (API) and graphical user interfaces (GUI) for many software applications used in manufacturing of integrated circuits (notably for Intel). Later in Belgium as an application engineer, he ran clean room experiments and published many papers. Martin was an intrapreneur at Synopsys; he prototyped a software toolkit to interface with metrology equipment in the clean room. He then settled in Montreal and became product manager to lead development and commercialization of that software application. After a decade of fun and challenges, Martin decided to jump into the adventure of a startup. Martin’s passion is building software applications people love to use. Coding is easy, but getting people to use your application is hard, and getting them to love it is close to impossible. Yet it is his lifelong mission to accomplish just that. Martin holds a bachelor in computer science, and an MBA from the University of Ottawa. (17) sep 30, 2011 71/365 Every year without knowing it I have passed the day When the last fires will wave to me And the silence will set out Tireless traveler Like the beam of a lightless star Then I will no longer Find myself in life as in a strange garment Surprised at the earth And the love of one woman And the shamelessness of men As today writing after three days of rain Hearing the wren sing and the falling cease And bowing not knowing to what W.S. Merwin’s “For the Anniversary of My Death” I wasn’t really going to use the end of the poem but I realized it really goes with the picture, so you get it all. Fall has fallen and the colors outside are starting to become really striking. I do love this time of year. OK, it’s a few hours later. I just got back from the library—checked out LOTR—Fellowship of the Ring. Helped Fr. Jerome get a book that was on reserve. The poor clueless Johnnies working the desk were not much help at all. Jerome wasn’t much help to them either—he didn’t have the call number. I set off the alarm when I left. I used to think it was my camera, but I didn’t have it with me. I had nothing except my wallet, the dvd, and the school paper. Oh, well. The one clueless Johnnie wanted to stop me the other just waved me through. They were clueless—semi-cute, but their lack of skills at the library left me completely uninterested. My room, if not completely clean, is cleaner than it was. Sweeping makes such a big difference. I’ve got two loads of laundry in at the moment. One is in the dryer, the other I just put in the washer. I have a lot of reading to do tomorrow. Will be in a workshop tomorrow morning. Should be interesting. Well, to me—really not interesting to anyone who is likely to read this. It’s on the new translation of the Roman Missal—I think it’s mostly how to navigate the pages and stuff. Not so much on the language. This (this entry is totally a random collection of thought—just in case you haven’t noticed by now)—anyway, this morning I missed morning prayer again. I could’ve made it. I just really don’t feel like all the time. Anyway, I got up and showered and then went for breakfast in the student dining hall. Hoping to avoid the view of all the monks when they come through (some monks like to come and toast a bagel or get a hot breakfast—the monastic dining room only has oatmeal and cold cereal)—so, again hoping to avoid all the monks that do come over, I sat towards the back of the dining hall. Well, several of them wanted to talk privately so they were looking for places to sit in the hall. They all ended up sitting around me. It always happens that way. Oh, well. I stayed longer than most of them—mostly because the ROTC boys kept slowly arriving in groups of three or four. They haven’t been as interesting this year—mostly because the military professors haven’t been eating with them. Some of those guys were amazingly hot. Oh, well. Such is life. I better go put my clothes in the dryer. I’m sure there is something else I wanted to write out tonight, though, so I’ll be back. Not that you’d notice me being gone, unless you also take this time to get up and walk away from the computer for about ten minutes…. OK, I’m back, and to be completely honest I was gone for longer than ten minutes. It really should have taken less than ten, but my clothes were not finished spinning. I went and had a cookie. Then came back here and watched some youtube videos. Then walked down the two flights of stairs and down the hall and back up the other two flights of stairs and put my clothes in the dryer. I feel bad about utilizing two dryers at the moment as they have so few around here, but at this time of night it should be OK. It’s far too late to actually start a fresh load in a washer, so I don’t feel that bad anymore. Then I starting think about how my clothes spin more than I do and perhaps if I actually did some spinning I wouldn’t have such weight and body image issues. That’s about all I’m going to say about that—just wanted to let you know what sometimes pops into my head at odd times and for odd reasons. I remembered the other thing I wanted to write about. It’s not all that interesting, but it’s been with me for a little while so I’ll just get it out. Overheard a conversation tonight at dinner. Two of the guys at the end of the table had attended a workshop today about preaching. The one was the beefy southern monk who is in his first year of studies here. They didn’t really care for the idea that the presenters had about proclaiming the word of God—the presenter was advocating for a more dramatic sort of reading than what normally happens in church. Southern boy really didn’t like it. My only thought was—and I’m glad I didn’t voice it—was that nobody would give a shit about Jesus if he told all his parables and stories in a monotone like most priest and pious acting people in church do. I think it’s just pointing to the fact that I’m t my upstate aunt's farm My aunt, who lives where i grew up, in upstate new york, in the finger lakes region, sent to me this photo. I tried to take a picture of the photo, the table background makes a very good border, I feel; the "rustic wood" frame fits with this image. So quiet here. Every sound, for miles around, can be heard, on a windless day. Only the birds, and a far far off farm tractor, maybe, can be heard. The hawks float over the filelds, their cry can be heard for a mile. On a claer day, I can see 60 miles across cayuga lake, from behind this barn Incredibly difficult to take a picture of a glossy print, the refections stand out every time! Then this image is a bit out of focus, maybe this also fits with the Mood, the mood of something that exists today, out of the 1950s, why my aunt still cans vegtables with mason jars, there are some things that can bertter than freezing. She is the church organists, and choir director, she has 8 kids and 26 grandkids. she is right out of the old 1950s book, "wholesomeness" once meant something Real, and she is of this Cloth! The house is behind the plants, the barn can dimly be seen, I like that feeling of the Open spaces, one can see why way into the distance, here on the high hill prairies of the finger lakes, this is the *very* beginning of the midwest, down to the Conservatism and even the tornadoes, one passed near here a few years ago. *This* is the type of place where if you lived alone and cooked for yourself, that *meant* that you were not in a good place as there was no one that loved you, and you HAD to do everything for yourself: marrage and job stability counted nearly for all! Church socials dish-to-pass, are alive and well, here. I lived here in the 90s, in my small town of Interlaken, every ten years they build one house, they had just finished that one house, in 1997, a "mcmansion". A town of 600 people. I would ofetn walk the four miles down to have supper with her and her husband Why a day that I wanted to shop for stuff, as i lived in this town, why I could walk all over the two block-sized business section, and go into all of the stores to buy five things, in one hour if i wanted to, but I would spend hours talking to people. NOW I see what a great sevice Walmart, and the other large superstores have done, especially for seniors like me who cannot perhaps get around too well, why one can visit just one store and buy everything that you need, in one trip; critics of the big box stores forget this! So pretty, in this mid-may scene, but the snowdrifts covered nearly the bushes last winter! Her oldest son now owns and runs the farm, he grows organic soybeans. So in this multi-tasking world of 40 minute commutes each way and where 60% of all food eaten is eaten in a car, and most windows do not open and earbuds are the rule, and NO ONE has the time to have a meal at home with the family, [ I overheard one man, recently, bear his souls to his friend about how he FORCES his family to all sit down together one day a month, else no one ever ever would get them all togther, one meal, one person, who has the ability when each member has a different schedule?!] Yes, in the big city if there are two teens in the family, the family needs four cars very muchly and the hairdresser is in *this* direction, and the school is in another direction: life is scattered in 20 places so 30 miles to shop or do your stuff, is the True Reality! Thus a simpler life still exists, but who would want it if they had it?! This aunt is a very very devout christian lady and most of her "kids" are too, they all are nearly "Amish" in their way of life and beliefs. They have been married, I think, for about 50 years, what marrage lasts even five years today: most of the people that I know under 50 have been divorced *several* times! --the Price to pay for homemade cookies, in the age where many kids do not know what a homemade anything is! the Price to pay for Certainitude of a certain ilk, the church is the center of the social life and bed by 10 and up by 7. One summer week she had one of her oldest daughter's sons there on vacation, this daughter had nine kids and she lives the life like of the Amish that are just down the road, she cooks all the food from scratch and NO television and computer ever, and Bible-homeschooling. I ate supper with the three boys and now I Know what "Wholesome" really means; these teens were positive, outgoing, caring, with "clean" vibes..[recite the boy scout Oath, to describe them!] Today the oldest boy is going to be a missionary in, I think, Central America. [I note that the newly moved-in Amish people, here, in the 90s, also have very very happy kids, even if they are thin and raggy-clothes! no tv or games or public school for them either: compare with the teens of today, in the cities!!] You have to create your own entertainments, here! how to clean up cookies on computer "Get Synched!" (17) Taking off the cylinder head (Tempo Standard 1955) This old Sachs 150 cc engine is a piece of art in my opinion, so what better to use for cleaning it than a paintbrush! There is at least 43 years of dust and grime in between the cooling ribs on this thing, so I need to really get in there. A little rust remover helps loosen things up a little. The plan is to sandblast it later, but I have to get as much as possible out by hand. Chicken grease spill Yep, that's what's in the pan from last night's chicken wings, soaking in plain ol' water. Just as I was going to clean the dish, I felt art was suddenly creeping up in front of my very eyes... Did I see a squirrel–with a lost bushy tail–in here, somewhere?
