That's my Holly Hobbie phonograph there in the background. This is the record player I used to spin the Beatles on. Seriously. In fact, when I blow up the original picture I can see the apple on the label. Jeez. I still have that record. I drew all over the cover and it's falling apart, but it still works, kind of.
My mom looks a little skeletal in this picture. She needs a bowl of pasta. This is right before my parents split, so I'm sure she had a lot on her mind.
