Biking from Oregon to Maine is no small feat, especially for two newly retired women who carry everything they need for three months, powered only by the strength of their legs and a desire for adventure. This is Dave from San Francisco, I met him on his way up to Hanmer NZ. I don't know the name of this unusual trailer he was towing but he had some great gear on his bike including one of those bags that sits in the middle of the frame, (Made in Alaska).
He was able to carry his tent and sleeping bag under his seat and I think I saw a guitar strapped to a frame on that extra rear wheel.
