A state rank holder in Higher Secondary from Wilson College, he graduated with distinction from Mumbai University’s Jai Hind College with an Honours degree in Economics. He holds a Masters in International Studies from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and also a Fellowship in International Studies from the University Grant Commission of India.

A University-level hockey player, his current interests are reading, popular Indian culture and films.

This is my last shot from the hockey game. Cornell won this exhibition match 6 to 0, but the Etobicoke Jr. Dolphins played impressively against the #1 ranked Big Red... especially when you consider that the Jr. Dolphin players are mostly 17 years old!

I had the ingenious idea of using a real skate blade as the base for look & structure, but the entire boot is cake & edible - as is the toe shoe - all cake.

Hello, my name is Scott Schilds and I am a terrible golfer. After many years of failure, I have grown accustomed to this fact, and have been able to lead a healthy life despite my shortcomings on the links. So you can understand my trepidation as I learned that my first experience with my new co-workers at the DC Visitor Info Center was a trip to the Lone Wolf Golf Club. This was before I realised that this is a club that's about so much more than golf.
This, of coures, isn't to say that the golf facilities aren't incredible. It's a 18 hole, par 72, championship course complete with 86 sand bunkers and a CPGA pro on staff. The course is located in the picturesque Peace River valley, which keeps the winds low, and also allows the opportunity to see many kinds of wildlife along your way, including moose, deer, eagles and elk.
After our collective golfing adventure, me and the other counsellors headed into the licensed clubhouse to experience some of the hospitality offered by the friendly staff. Now, I may not be the next PGA star, but I do know good food. And the full restaurant on site served up some good food. For my money, there is no better day than one spent outdoors, capped off with a delicious meal and a playoff hockey game on TV at a local restaurant, and that is exactly what we were provided by our welcoming hosts at the Lone Wolf Golf Club.
And if it helps, that day held the best golf I'd ever played.

I have a blue ray disc player and a Rogers box where I can record TV programs. I also have the sound of the TV connected up to my stereo system. It is awesome for sports. I watched the Winter Olympic games on it and now I am watching The Stanley CUP NHL hockey playoffs !!

Today is my birthday. Birthdays are like unescapable dates that force me to look back and look ahead. New Year's Day has a similar effect on me. And certain anniversaries. Opportunities, and also forced concepts.
In fact EVERY single day is a day for not forgetting the things behind us (or for forgetting). Every day is a gift to build, to give, to enjoy.
Chances, why don't we use them enough? Cos we're human. You get it: I think too much. But the nicest thing is (at least for most of us) : there are always new chances! :-)

BTW, my birthday is something that calls for enjoying, so I always enjoy nice things in the weeks before and after! ;-)

Okay, maybe ONE more for Story People. I think I'm addicted!!

He loved her for almost everything she was & she decided that was enough to let him stay for a very long time.

Shawn's back for a visit to my stream! I roped him into posing today. We celebrated the end of a very long and stressful time at my job by going on a proper date. We saw Hello Dolly at the 5th Avenue Theater (nevermind that we did not like it and left at intermission) and then had a wonderful dinner at The Metropolitan Grill, which is a great steakhouse in Seattle.

It was a lovely afternoon/evening and now we're home and snuggled up on the couch to watch a movie. I couldn't ask for anything better!!
