For 52 Weeks of Fitness.

Growing up I was a skinny little dude. 160 pounds when I graduated high school. I was 220 when I graduated law school. And getting fatter. From a lanky little shit to having a beer belly. Not good.

Three years ago I was at 242. 42 in the waist and wearing XXL shirts. I started eating better, drinking tons of water and ended up getting down to 210. Then it came back. I started eating crap and ballooned up to 247. I started eating better and drinking water. Again. And this past year or so I ended up getting down to 198 at one point. I'm now at 210.

Six weeks ago I joined a gym and for the first time in years I started working out. Pushing myself. Hard. Enough where some days I want to puke. Heavy weights. Maximum exertion. Trying to get results. And I'm starting to see them. My arms that have always been lanky are starting to fill out. The stomach is slowly (very slowly) melting away (I can feel abs, can't see 'em though).

There's a lot more fricking work ahead. But it's addicting. I enjoy the hell out of it.

Anyway enough talk, just wanted to give a shout out to Bitca and Tom for some much needed inspiration for kicking ass this year. Bitca dropped 51 pounds and Tom just won the Boston Marathon!

And I sincerely hope this gives Sardy a boner.

Alright...I'm good for the next 10 hours! :)

I've never drank two 5 Hour Energy drinks at once before, but if I did, I wonder if it would give me 10 hours of energy or would it just give me 5 strong hours of energy. Anyways, I try not to rely on this stuff too much, but when I need it, it works. Some people say it does nothing for them, but for me, it's a wonder drink. Coffee or soda does not wake me up like this stuff. It doesn't give me the racing heart feeling either, which I hate. For the most part, I use it when I'm driving home (hour plus commute each way) but only if I feel like I'm going to nod off. I can honestly say that 5 Hour Energy has probably saved my ass more than a handful of times.
