She ends up in mental institution and while there she starts to imagine alternative reality. She plans to escape from that imaginary world but to do that she needs to steal five objects before she is caught by a vile man. Story is set in 1950's"

"Dans les annees 1950, Baby Doll est faite enfermee par son beau-pere tyrannique dans une institution pour deficients mentaux, en attendant qu’elle s'y face lobotomiser dans les 5 jours. Une fois internee, la jeune fille se met cependant a rever, imaginant une sorte de realite parallele pour s'eloigner de toutes ses douleurs et y entrainant ses camarades d'internement. Dans cette realite imaginaire, elle prevoit alors son evasion et, pour cela, les cinq filles ont besoin de voler cinq objets aux differents gardiens avant que Baby Doll ne tombe entre les griffes d'un homme infect... My first and favorite doll for all of my childhood: my Blue Baby. Gifted to me by my Mammaw at my birth (according to the legend) in 1980. Her tag is gone, and it was faded to white before it finally disappeared, but if I remember correctly, she was by Fisher Price.
