Blurs happen. This was with my iPhone and had gone totally unnoticed by me. Once I found it there was something about the movement in this that caught my imagination. Downloaded in my computer, I then opened it in Camera Raw. I increased the temperature. Decreased the tint. Increased the following: exposure, recovery (31), blacks (to 75!), brightness just a bit, contrast, vibrance and saturation. Dropped clarity to -100. Then back in photoshop added a radial blur, onto the natural blur, to soften the edges before adding a stroke of 10, beveled, and dropping a black layer under it. The title was the hardest part!

To any of those unsure about whether one can shoot monochrome in RAW and then convert it to color later, here is a proof of concept:

Here is a painting my grandmother painted, shot in "monochrome" Picture Style (as set via the Menu with the camera icon and the number 2). This is how it looked on my camera's LCD, and this is how it looked when I downloaded it to my computer and opened it in Canon DPP (Digital Photo Professional). I didn't change a thing; I just did a "Convert and Save" to JPEG format and downsized it to 800 pixels on the longest side.
