Semalam masa dok godek2 folder mypicture, terjumpa gambar2 kahwin ni, so saja2 laa edit untuk dibuat entry baru. See, bila time rajin tu, banyak bukan main lagi upload pictures. Tapi, bila datang malas tu, lamaaaa baru nak update, hehe...

Mula2 mai nak cerita pasal PELAMIN.
Yang tema warna kuning+emas tu pelamin masa kenduri sebelah perempuan ie me. Sementara yang biru itu sebelah myLove.
Masa buat preparation nak kahwin tu, salah satu permintaan I, I tak nak pelamin ada kerusi, cukuplah duduk bersimpuh atas simple stage. Tapi few days before nak pilih pelamin, abah kata kawan abah nak bagi special course untuk pelamin la pulak, So, nak tak nak, kena jugak pilih pelamin lengkap. Adoi laa, kalau kata tak nak, macam kurang sopan la pulak kan, orang dah offer nak bagi, jual mahal pulak. So itu laa hasil dari pilihan I. Bukan kami bersanding pun, duduk atas tu untuk sesi bergambar saja. Tak ada acara renjis merenjis pun.
MyLove pulak, pada mulanya memang myLove kata tak ada pelamin2 ni. Tapi my parents in law beriya2 nak buat majlis jadi best, yer laa, myLove anak bongsu, kakak dan abangnya dah kahwin, dia yang last, so mesti laa my pil nak buat yang terbaik kan. Hasilnya jadi laa pelamin cute tu, hehe,

Ok next, lets share an info about CALCIUM and YOGURT...

Calcium is well known as one of the most important nutrition for women. It doesn't mean that men do not need it, but since women get pregnant and nursing their babies, they really need calcium in a big amount.
Pengambilan kalsium ni boleh diibaratkan seperti akaun bank, yang sejak kecil kita debitkan ke dalam tubuh sehingga laa bila kita hamil, our savings dikreditkan dengan banyaknya. Kerana itulah, amat penting untuk kita sebagai kaum wanita untuk sentiasa peka dengan pengambilan kalsium dalam diet harian kita. Faham yer puan2? hehe
Why do you need calcium when you are pregnant?
It is because your developing baby needs calcium to grow strong bones and teeth, a healthy heart, nerves, and muscles, and to develop normal heart rhythm and blood clotting abilities. If you don't get enough calcium in your diet, your baby will leach it from your bones, which may impair your own health later on.
Before, during, and after pregnancy you need 1,000 mg a day, because your body can't absorb much more than that amount.
Even after your baby's born and you're finished nursing, keep paying attention to your calcium intake because you need the mineral to help ward off osteoporosis (bone loss) later in life.
Selalunya bila disebut kalsium, kita bayangkan susu. Sebenarnya, masih terlalu banyak sumber kalsium yang ada, so if you don't like milk, don't worry, you still have a lot of options... For example, other dairy products, low-fat yogurt, cottage cheese, calcium-fortified orange juice, calcium-fortified bread, sardines, Gruyere cheese, canned salmon, cheddar cheese, firm tofu, corn tortillas, boiled turnip greens and many more.
As we know, pregnant ladies need other vitamins and minerals too, and eating our daily diet somehow will not help us to get all the nutritions. We have a solution for that, it is SUPPLEMENT. Hooray!

Talking about yogurt. Do you like yogurt? Me love it so much.
Masa pregnantkan Rafiqh, everyday I must eat yogurt. It was one of the way to consume calcium as well. But at that time, I didn't know the benefits of yogurt except for the calcium. Until one day, I watched Malaysia Hari Ini, they invited a doctor to talk about ELERGY. The doctor said, pregnant ladies should eat a lot of yogurt in order to prevent their babies from any alergy.
Yeah that's right I guess. I think it works on me, I mean my baby. Since Rafiqh was born till today, alhamdulillah he has no health problem. Dia tak pernah demam, selsema, batuk, gatal2 atau apa2 saja laa. Even though masa myLove and I demam and selsema pun, he remains to be healthy... And the most important is I hope Rafiqh tak mewarisi kulit I yang agak sensitif ni...
Oh ya, tak lama lagi Rafiqh pun dah boleh makan yogurt. Plain-yogurt...

Valerie: Aileen loves where I work. It's even the first place she ever saw me. But that's another story for another time.

Aileen's definitely the sweetest ever. She stays on the phone with me while I drive to work, waits while I fight for parking, then talks to me while I walk over to being my shift. She even wishes me a great shift and tells me how she'll be thinking of me while I work. I melt every time and I begin work with a smile on my face.

I always wonder what Aileen does while I'm working. However, I do know that she's thinking about me because I'll get texts that say "I miss you" or "I'm thinking of you" and it makes me so much happier about being at work. I always feel bad because sometimes I don't have time to take my ten minute breaks so I end up calling after I'm off, even if I tell her I still get a ten so I can call her soon. I always feel terrible about it, but I'm so lucky that she understands and stands by me no matter what. She really is amazing.

Although I don't like that work keeps me away from Aileen, I can at least say that I really enjoy my job. It's fun and easy-going. It gets hectic at times, but I like the challenge.

I'm joking, baby!

I get so excited when I clock off because I finally get to be with my baby love. She's always there to ask me about my day at work and even lets me vent all the craziness that goes on. She stays on the phone with me while I drive home.

Once I'm home, we get in bed and we talk about anything and everything. We connect with each other on so many levels and I love every bit of it. She recently bought herself a book that she reads to me every night. She thinks I fall asleep, but I'm not sleeping! I ask her to summarize it because I have a hard time understanding what's going on.

She's the reason why I fall asleep each and every night with a smile on my face.


Aileen: I love asking Valerie questions about her job. Secretly I am trying to convince her to get me an interview. I really do not give her enough credit for what she does at fruit-concoction heaven. However, I am aware that I probably love it more than if it were my own job. Going back to the interview comment, I also like to come up with hypothetical answers to questions they may ask. For example: I am asked what my favorite smoothie is. A person who is taking her interview seriously would answer Strawberry’s wild. The reason being it’s a popular smoothie and who can go wrong with strawberries. Yeah well its actually boring and a very brown nosy move. I would answer with Aloha Pineapple, no frozen yogurt, sub pineapple sherbet. Yes, I am aware that flavor is also popular, however, I know my substitutions, thanks to Valerie, and my interviewer would be far more impressed with my knowledge of their products.

When Valerie is working I usually start cleaning out my room. Not to actually clean it, but to find anything she might enjoy seeing. I love finding pictures of myself when I thought I was a punk. Black t-shirts and dickie pants definitely certify you as a rebel. As I searched through all of my junk piles I realized I have probably showed her everything there is to see. For that particular reason, I stopped cleaning my room and now it’s messier than it was before, and no, I don’t intend on cleaning it tonight.

Although my day was not as interesting without Valerie, I love that we can still share something together. Even if we are not physically next to each other, we have found a way to still share an activity. I recently purchased Invisible Monsters and I have started reading two chapters to Valerie every night. I know I probably read fast and my voice is monotone, but I enjoy summarizing what I have just read to Valerie when she doesn’t want to admit she fell asleep.
