1975-77 Blue Bird/Ford school bus

For some reason, old school buses fascinate me. Unfortunately for photo opportunities, I no longer live in a place where there are half a dozen of them built into every hillside...

This particular example has a Ford chassis and Blue Bird body; dating to after 1975 (when Blue Bird adopted a squared-off roof cap for the rear end) and before 1977 (when the firm eliminated the fixed rear-side window from its design). Interestingly, the bus looked to have been "imported" into Wisconsin from another state; since it was equipped with eight-way combination red/amber flashers.

School Bus - Old Nissa Fortress - Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

We saw the friendly school children again as they were leaving the fortress. They were really packed into the school bus (i.e. standing room only). The best part is that the bus was a "BMW" - do they have "Pimp My Ride" in Turkmenistan?
