GoGo#2 Follow Up
November Paynter je 14.11. u MMCentru prezentirala selekciju video pod nazivom "Coming Up". Nakon projekcije videa uradaka umjetnika koji brisu granice izmedju umjetnosti i muzicke industrije; "visoke kulture" i pop kulture/MTVa, program se nastavio u foajeu MM centra. Druzili smo se slusajuci audio radove na gramofonskim plocama, dio svoje kolekcije umjetnickih vinila koje je November okupila u projektu pod nazivom "Encore".Velika je steta sto su se mnogi posjetioci razisli ubrzo nakon projekcije. Mislim da mnogima nije bilo jasno da mogu pustiti sami koju god plocu zele. Osim ploca iz "Encore " projekta, na raspolaganju su bile i brojne druge ploce - od Frank Sinatre do Eurythmicsa. Oni koji su ostali su imali priliku slusati interesantan sadrzaj i upoznati se umjetncikom praksom izdavanja vinila. Kod nas jos uvijek nepoznata, ta praksa je prihvacena od brojnih internacionalnih umjetnika, pogotovo onih koji se bave zvukom. Ako vas zanima kako je izgledalo, kliknite na ovaj link.

After a screenig of videos of artists that blur the borders between fine art and music industry; between "high culture" and pop culture/MTV, the program continued in the foyer of the MM center. We were hangigng out listening to audio works on records, a part of the collection of artist's vynils that November collected around the project "Encore". It is a pity that many of the visitors left right after the screening. I think that many were not clear about the idea that they could play any record of their choosing. Beside the vynils from the "Encore" project, many other records were available s well - from Frank Sinatra to Eurythmics. The ones that stayed had the opportunity to listen to interesting content and get familiar with the artistic practice of publisihing their art on vynil. This practice, fairly unknown here, is adopted by many international artists, especially by those who work with sound. |
