Vaughan framing hammers, wooden handles

Vaughan wooden handled hammers in my collection as of Nov 2008. the Vaughan company is the producer of upward of 20% of my collection if you include the hammers made by Vaughan for other companies to sell under their own label, Craftsman, Raptor, and Vaughans acquired line Dalluge. I have come to think of them as the 800 pound gorilla of hammer makers. Still Made in USA, you go, Vaughan!

Vaughan Grocery

The picture was taken many many tens of years ago of "Vaughan Incorporated", a grocery company which passed on eventually to the Richardson family in Louisville, KY area. They would deliver groceries all of Kentucky such as E-town, Owensboro, etc. Vaughan Grocery then got sold to another owner because they saw Kroger, Winn-Dixie were coming and opening in this same area.
