36" Cylinder Bamboo Floor Vase - Natural
This versatile cylinder-shaped floor vase has been handcrafted from natural bamboo by artisans in Southeast Asia. Strips of bamboo have been curved into the shape of the vase, carefully sanded to a smooth surface, and then coated in a clear matte lacquer. The large floor vase measures 36 tall x 11 diameter at its widest point.Decorating Tip:Place the natural bamboo floor vase in an area to compliment a color or provide height. The use of the cube in the picture is sested to provide height as needed for a decorative display. The large vase also looks appealing in a group of floor vases of different sizes and textures.Bamboo vases cannot hold water. If you wish to use live plants or flowers, you must first place those in a plastic or glass water container and then insert the container into the bamboo vase.As each vase is individually handcrafted, each piece may vary slightly in form or color.

Here is a picture taken in our bedroom on my dresser near the window...in a new clear glass vase with blue and white rocks and water in the vase..below I have posted pictures I took using my wide angle lens, so everyone can see our newly painted walls...and the hardwood flooring on the first floor hallway and living room..we still have to put up pictures and decorate and get new curtains. We have a new leather couch and chair (all recline)...on order which will be delivered next Friday. And then we will still have to get a new coffee table and end table(s)..I included several views of most rooms as it is hard to get the whole room in one shot...so I hope you enjoy the colorful journey below!

100240 Color: Red Pictured in purple Britt's inspiration comes from the fashion world. She has worked in the fashion industry for 10 years before she started her own home interiors shop. Britt Bonnesen has been an important part of Normann Copenhagen since the very beginning. Among other things Britt has designed the Swing Vase and Rocking glass. She is fascinated by the many hip design hotels around the world. She has an eye for detail and the way details are well thought through, right from atmosphere, food, interior and the staff uniforms down to the hand soap in toilets. She also gets her inspiration from the fashion trade since these two industries have many similarities. Each swing vase is unique. The fun design is a timeless work of art that honors the tradition of this ancient craft by allowing each one to be slightly different. The vase is allowed to determine its own form. The vase was so to speak allowed to ''settle down'', and the Swing Vase was born. The shape varies from vase to vase, as all of them are mouth-blown. It is a little sculpture that looks fine alone, but really comes into its own in the company of other Swing Vases. Designed by: Britt Bonnesen Features: -Material: Glass. -Mouth blown. -Shape of the vase arose in a dialogue with local glass-blowers. -Available in several colors. -Overall Dimensions: 16'' H.
