Cauldron Snout
Snowing too heavily to photograph High Force last week when I visited it for the first time but will go back again sometime this year as it is magnificent waterfall that needs exploring further. I think there were a couple of deaths there last year and sure footing is required! Decided to leave for home and noticed a sign for Cauldron Snout......and following a 2 mile hike from the car park in strong winds and blizzard conditions followed by a careful decent down these rocks, I ended up once again, standing in the middle of a river on a freezing winter's (spring!) day!!
Could only manage a few exposures between showers and due to constant filter and lens cleaning any light that did shine, was gone by the time I was ready! Then remembered the car was some 2 miles away up those rocks and into the teeth of a gale! Wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else though and will return again! On a nice day, I can imagine this would be a superb place to explore. Roll on the summer!

Crazy weather today in London - lots of showers. After a long break I finally made it back to Battersea Power Station, my muse! Still looked beautiful, despite the clouds. I went across the river to see if I could get closer - managed to get a bit nearer, but not a good angle; added above. They're developing it, so won't get a chance to get any closer until it's finished in 2016!
