Slow Cook Chicken Breast
Chicken and Celery for Orange Chicken
Slow cooked Chicken orange
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 cup chopped onion (1 medium to large)
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 oz orange juice
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
2 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Combine salt, cayenne pepper, chili powder and paprika. Sprinkle over chicken.
Set aside. Place onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic in bottom of slow cooker.
Place chicken on top. Mix orange juice, peel, honey, Worcestershire sauce and
ginger. Pour over chicken. Cook for 6 to 8 hours on low.

I rarely order chicken entrees these days, but I do like squab. Steve picked this out, and it didn't disappoint. The medallions of breast were perfectly juicy, and it was sitting on the roasted mushrooms with bits of the leg meat in it. The peas, pureed and whole, and the carrots lightened it up a little for me too.
