REFRIGERATING CAKES. REFRIGERATING
Refrigerating cakes. History of air conditioning and refrigeration.
- Refrigeration is the process of removing heat from an enclosed space, or from a substance, and moving it to a place where it is unobjectionable. The primary purpose of refrigeration is lowering the temperature of the enclosed space or substance and then maintaining that lower temperature.
- Subject (food or drink) to cold in order to chill or preserve it, typically by placing it in a refrigerator
- refrigerant: causing cooling or freezing; "a refrigerant substance such as ice or solid carbon dioxide"
- (cake) a block of solid substance (such as soap or wax); "a bar of chocolate"
- (cake) patty: small flat mass of chopped food
- An item of soft, sweet food made from a mixture of flour, shortening, eggs, sugar, and other ingredients, baked and often decorated
- (cake) coat: form a coat over; "Dirt had coated her face"
- An item of savory food formed into a flat, round shape, and typically baked or fried
- A flattish, compact mass of something, esp. soap
The Ashrae Guide for Buildings in Hot and Humid Climates, 2nd Edition
This expanded second edition of The ASHRAE Guide for Buildings in Hot and Humid Climates adds information on building enclosures, dehumidification, sustainability, mold avoidance, energy reduction, and much more-all tightly focused on the needs of owners, architects, and engineers who build and manage buildings in hot and humid climates. The book includes six chapters that discuss critical crosscutting issues for architecture, engineering, and building management along with eleven chapters of detailed and practical solutions to everyday problems in each area.
happy memorial day! campy cotten candy coconut cake
The easiest recipe ever! Bake a white cake as directed. I tinted my batter the lightest color pink. For filling: Mix 2 c. sugar with 2 c. sour cream and 1 bag of coconut together ( I tinted mine aqua - hence the cotton candy refrence ). Add one container of cool whip to about 1 c. of the filling mixture - this is what you will frost the top and sides of the cake with. Once the cake is cooled split the 2 layers so you have 4. Spread the filling in between the layers and then frost with the Cool Whip mixture! You're suppose to refrigerate this cake for 4 days!!!!!! I can't wait that long!!! But if you think you can hold out before you dig in - by all means do so! It mellows and makes the moistest cake on the planet!!!

This reference defines good procedures for energy survey and analysis for purchasers and providers of energy audit services. Features include:
- A format that allows meaningful sharing of data on buildings and their energy use
- A ''non-cookbook'' approach. Provides generalized procedures for guidance and a uniform method of reporting basic information while recognizing all buildings are different
- Encourages and develops analysis, critical thinking skills, and judgment
- Includes a CD with more than 25 guideline forms in both PDF and Microsoft Word (copyright) formats for easy customization.
- Explanatory material illustrates the content and arrangement of a complete, effective energy analysis report.
ASHRAE, founded in 1894, is an international organization of some 50,000 persons. ASHRAE fulfills its mission of advancing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world through research, standards writing, publishing, and continuing education.
The ASHRAE Handbooks are the design standard for control of built environments with volumes on Systems and Equipment, HVAC Applications, Refrigeration and Fundamentals. Each is updated every four years. In addition to publishing design guidance for engineers, architects, and facility managers, we also publish a series of texts for classroom use.
Some of the areas we publish in include:
-Energy Modeling and Auditing
-High Performance Building Design
-Indoor Air Quality and Environmental Quality
-Data Center Energy Efficiency
-Noise & Vibration Control
-HVAC for Healthcare Facilities
