After arid places like Arches National Park, Monument Valley, etc., it felt almost unnatural to get into the Rocky Mountains with their forests again.

Snowy Trail to Lamentation Mountain
This is the rocky trail covered in snow that goes from the banks of Crescent Lake to the summit of Lamentation Mountain in Giuffrida Park of Meriden, CT. The yellow blaze on the right marks the trail's start. You can see some tire tracks at the front where an ATV tried to go up.
