this set up is the best thing i could have done for an indoor boxie. its a 40 gallon breeder tank so its low and wide. the waterfall has a hidden filter, the rocks are at varied depth so she can submerge if she wants to and in other parts she can walk along the bottom. the divider is a petsmart divider siliconed in place. the slate is an awesome place to feed her, it files her nails and her beak. the water has feeder guppies to help maintain the water quality as they eat debris. plus boxies occasionally do hunt fish so if she ever wanted to do that, its there. there is a 8.0 reptiglo UVB light to assist in bone health, an incandescent bulb serves as a bask bulb. the dirt is pretty deep which allows her to bury herself when she needs that as safety.

she is a happy little turtle. she is very active and very alert so to me, that is a sign of a healthy happy critter.
