I have ever seen this idea in magazin but dont remember which one...but many thanks for the sketch from that magazin...great sketch.....put 2 tags near each other..
Stamped the Manuscript Background with peeled paint and gave water on it . Dry with dry embossing tool. Distressing all the edge of the brown paper. Gave also the paper from Magazin (at the bottom left side), tear it and gave the faded jean, peeled paint, and tea dye on it. Distressing the edge of the tear paper.
Make 2 Tags, one covered with a German magazin, gave tea dye color and distressing the edge. Stamped the Eiffel with Memories Brown.
The second Tag I used the technique from Jennifer on Tuesday, Stamped the CL116 and gave tea dye, peelde paint, and dusty concord on it, spray the watter and dry it. Stamped the PARIS from CL325, but it is no so clear, also I stamped again P A R I S words with CL137 in brown. Distressing the edge.
Gave ever tag the coin and the rope.
Gave a bit tea dye color on the purple rose. Gave the Lace on the bottom area (gave a bit tea dye color on the lace)
Finish Card = 11x15 cm
Thanks for looking :)
Distress Thank You
I tried to make a card using the distress resist technique seen in Jennifer's video the other day...however, I used shadow inks and they didn't come out very dark so I wound up adding watercolors for more color variation.
I embossed the design block stencil in white onto white cardstock, then added ink and watercolors. I tore the edge and added stone shadow ink to distress the edge. I also embossed the long calligraphy thank you in white on a pale green card and then added the stencil design on top. Finally, I distressed the edge of the green card as well as the flower petals with stone shadow ink.
Thanks for looking!
