Day 70: Midnight Snack -- with a little helper!
I had to do it. I had to have the obligatory "from the refrigerator" photo for my set. It really was a late evening snack though. I had fallen asleep (hence the bedhead) while watching some TV and when I woke up, I realized I hadn't taken my 365 day photo yet, and that my tummy was rumbling. I grabbed my camera, ran downstairs and set up the shot. It only took one.
What really cracks me up about this one is that one of my dogs is also in the shot. She was hungry too!
The Crosley was an early attempt at a subcompact car, made by the Crosley Corporation of Cinncinnati, Ohio. (They were famous in the Depression years for radios and refrigerators.) This is a 1948 model. Engine was the CoBra (for "Copper Brazed"), a 721 cc overhead-cam four. Crosley went out of business just as the first Volkswagens were arriving on American shores.
The slab sides were an innovation too.
