It only took twenty one years to realize and experience for the first time that power sliding on a carpet is never a good idea.
I knew the consequences; But there are times when music fills you with a sense of euphoria that makes you forget where you are. While singing "Open Arms" by Journey, I reached an emotional high point where I attempted a power slide in mid-song. From that point on came a world of hurt. Oddly enough, my left leg was not chafed. But regardless, I felt like a satisfied fool afterward :)
Carpet Cleaner
This oddly shaped photo is autostitched from 3 photos and I don't know what I was thinking when I tried this except when you are standing right here, it's really something to see virtually the whole village powered by water. At the bottom is the carpet cleaner. You throw the carpet into the bowl and let the turbulence of the water spin it until all the dirt is gone. The stone hut in the back is getting water through the large pipe in the roof to drive some other machine.
