T-Shirt For my t-shirt I used my logo that I made from a tutorial and pasted it onto a plain white moving truck on my black and red shirt. I did that by using the magic wand to crop out the white box in the background of the truck so it was a free-floating image on my shirt. then I copied and pasted the image of Northview Wildcat with a capital "N" in the middle of it. Once I pasted it I used the button combination "CTRL+T" to resize it to get it as small as it is. Then, went on google and found an image of a wildcat and thought it looked cool so i copy and pasted it onto my shirt. But before that I used the magic wand to erase the white background to it and resized this picture as well. After all, I enjoyed doing this project because it was interesting and I am very interested with the knowledge of our youth younger than me to continue with their educational, and learning experiences. T shirt copy This is my t shirt. Just plain white with the red and black northview logo, 2 books to support the theme of reading, Margaret Fullers quote "today a leader, tomorrow a reader" that kind of goes with northviews slogan of "preparing students for life's next step." And also at the bottom it says that its northviews summer reading program, and the shirt has the same title as the logo. I liked this project just as well as the logo. Because he possesses dim duplicate memories of all that Superman knows, he is well aware that Clark Kent is secretly Superman. 2008 05 24 (the scene kids wear batman masks!) tonight annie and i had an adventure: we drove into alton, il, to go to a venue called "illinoise" -- cute, right? the band we saw was pretty decent, although i can't remember their name. oh well. they sounded kind of like cave in to my untrained ear. the venue was okay, but the sound was TERRIBLE. it was full of emo scene kids, right down to emo hair. (one of the kids really looked like brent wilson, former bassist for panic at the disco, so much so that i kept doing a double take every time i saw him.) one of the kids was wearing giant rockstar sunglasses. indoors. in the dark. at night. this girl's name is mary, and she's from belleville, il. she trumps the girl who was wearing a shirt that had a vest screen-printed onto it, but only b/c before i took this picture, mary was wearing glasses OVER the batman mask. it was amazing and adorable. afterwards, annie and i hit the bluebird to see some band from cleveland. the chick singer/guitar player sounded a lot like pj harvey, and the drummer was fucking awesome. then we went to uncle bill's where i had potato pancakes and an omelet. the potato pancakes were weirdly sour, but what was i expecting? well, i was not expecting them to come covered in butter. let me tell you how weird that was: it was weird. Bruce Wayne has nothing on this kid. If Batman ever saw this photo, I am certain he would burn his regimentals in shame. Come on, man, you didn't even have chin ties. My brother Brandon, approximately age 3 (this is a guess), sporting a craftily improvised Batman costume that my mother created around the t-shirt he's wearing. Awesome.
